- A small stench would emit from the Lion Statue within Kingston, a few heads turned as a slim, yet appearingly strong, woman robed within a grey hood begins to tie a body to the paw of the grand lion statue at the center of the square, a young man, Alexander Bedevere, aiding her slightly. First she throws a stone over the paw, it wrapping the robe around thereof, before pulling it down and tight. Then pulling it down, the limp body of Mills, a Bloodeagle and friend of Blackmont, hangs upside down with his feet to the great sky of the Creator. -

VhFCjhQ.png- The two step backwards, the Shields' Lord Commander, Thomas Siegemen, stands proudly with his chin high, examining their work from afar before calling them off with a few shouts of the Bloodeagles, even disbanded, shall pay for their sins against the Empire and Creator himself. -

- A moment after, the remnant of the Bloodeagles find the body to lay it to rest, easily letting it drift back to the Monks. The crowd continues to watch, the Shields now marching away as they cut their dear friend loose from his dreadful position. The far away thumps and clammer of metal boots of the Shields' armor and boots. Each of them proud and stern, their stride long, yet uniform and precise; completely silent and content. -

Kaelys smirks as he sees mills' hanging body. He nods approvingly of the shields work, muttering a simple phrase under his breath.

"That is what happens to those who side with blackmonts."

*Looks at the hanging body of Mills and begins to laugh, cackling under his breath as he walks toward his shop stall. He continues laughing as he stocks his shop stall, slapping his knee. He then abruptly stops and grabs a bottle of his own brew, biting the cork off and knocking it back*

"And so begins... The end."

A small cohort of men from the Knights of Saint Amyas exit the Cathedral, having been led there by High Cross Ingvar Skaag to gather the materials still left in the bishops' offices. Ingvar glances up to the hanging corpse on the statue, a look of pity in his eyes, a grimace spreading across his face. He solemnly sighs, shaking his head at the brutal display of violence.

"If only they knew what was coming."

Alysius sits down for a moment. He peers down at the body, quickly taking notes. "Interesting..." he says, as he walks back to Abresi.

Kaila stops seeing this being done. She closes her eyes and lowers her head. Mills had been killed before, but after recent events, this has bothered her more than ever. No matter what she does, or how she tries, she will never be able to protect those who have helped her before. Biting her lip, Kaila wanders off to the clinic, preparing for the sick. Her hands trembling as a new image assaults her mind. Nearly breaking down in tears, she forces herself to work, knowing this is going to end badly.

Far away, Ike Arkshan, a former shield, and a rebel sits sipping tea, he wonders when he will actually get found...

Chet looks at the 7 Trebuchets aimed at Salvus. "Huh."

((Well, as long as we are playing -that- game))

Aron looks at the massive population is Salvus, who still, despite having said trebuchets aimed at them, haven't bothered stepping foot in Kaedreni land. "I wonder why~" He says sarcastically

Grand-Coss Guy Varodir snicker to himself at the pitiful response, "Because they are blind to what is to come." He adds, gesturing for the knights to set up camp within the new fort.

Chirr'Elsil walks along the rooftops of Kingston, patrolling for any who dare break the law, either up here or down below. Seeing no one on her third lap she smiles and climbs off of the roof. Returning to the lion statue, she frowns slightly. Resting her head on her right hand and using the left arm to support the right arm, she sighs.

"I did attempt to warn him. His stubborn foolishness led to his downfall, if he had simply humbled himself then logic explains that his life may have never been taken. Criminals are all fools, once you have broken the law, there truly can be no atoning for what you have done." She says, inhaling deeply and exhaling just as deeply once done. Turning and walking away, Chirr'Elsil begins to patrol the street for any and all law breakers.

Hunwald aids Oslo in taking Mills down, scowling.

"Why must Shields act so high and mighty? I killed three of them past battle, months back. They claim they have Creator's guidance, yet kill people in their streets like nothing. They decapitate and hang. They must be removed."
