I, for one, would like to give this new antagonist a chance before we start shouting Undead clone. This is minecraft, lava and nether/ender stuff is all we can use to make stuff look evil. Would you be happier if they filled the antagonist realm with trees and glowstone, because that's not undead-like?

Before other people say this is just the undead reborn, please refrain from it.  You actually have not the slightest clue what is to come and you're in for some amazing twists and surprises, Mau5 worked incredibly hard making this original and imo gonna be better than the Undead.  You're in for a treat.
