Jakesimonson 691 Share Posted July 12, 2013 Three bannermen of Flay-Silverblade can be seen riding into Abreesi, one carrying the Flayed Man Sigil of House Flay, another one carrying the Silverblade Sword Sigil. The bannerman standing in the middle of the two opens up a scroll, shouting to the crowd around them. “From this day on, the lands of Furnestock and Valence will be independant from the Kingdom of Oren. The new Kingdom will take up the name Galahar under the rightful King, Gladius Flay. King Garth Hightower has bent the knee to the Dwarves due to our pitiful King William III failing to protect us against outside threats. The Empire has crumbled and only a Kingdom has been left to a man who could not lead his Empire and left it to ruin. Now is the time to reclaim our lands which we have bled to gain, under a leader who can bring the Human race back to the heights it had previously ascended to. There was a day when Augustus Flay was not bound by the shackles of this nation but was a free man by the name of 'Prince.' He, like those who followed him believed in a world where every man could take and do as he pleased. Our esteemed Emperor Godfrey, pardoned this man, used his ruthless nature to kill and maim his way to forging an Empire that no man would ever dare strike down. Now I and all those who follow me into battle will do all in our power to take back what is ours. If we are to fail, we will die trying. As men bred for war and battle, we are born for one single purpose. No longer will we bow to a King who does not respect us and a Kingdom that would wish for our demise. We would be cast aside for our good deeds and steadfast loyalty. Now, our vengeance will know no bounds. Who was it but House Flay who led the armies against Oren's enemies to forge the Empire? My grandfather's legacy was left with a demolished fortress and a forgotten claim upon the throne of Hanseti. While rich nobles fed off of the lavish delicacies the Empire had to offer them, we were the men who fought and died for its survival. It was our blood that was soaked into the grounds, for its gain. Yet this so called King intends for our servitude to the Empire to be lost to time as Houses who mock our legacy will sit high and take claim for all we have done. I cannot and will not allow that to happen. You fight now for a Kingdom that has abandoned you, a King who is no longer capable of leading this nation to prosperity. I ask only that you heed my words and fight for our freedom. Destroy the last remnant of this abominable Empire and with it, all it stands for. It seeks to control you, to bind you to its will. Let the banners of House Horen fall! Fight for the freedom to do as you choose and together, we will rise as one."

ThatCanadian 203 Share Posted July 12, 2013 *As Matthew sits into his office, his personal steward knocks on the door.* "Come in," Matthew calls to the door. *His steward run in, panting from his run, the steward takes a second to catch his breath before he spills his message.* "Mi'Lord, The Flays and the Silverblades have declared the independence of Furnstock and Valence, under the new Kingdom of Galahar." *Matthew takes a second to think on this, then he goes to ****** up a quill and some paper. Writing a letter to King Gladius Flay.* "To His Grace, King Gladius Flay of the Kingdom of Galahar, I, Duke Matthew Claxdon, offer you my support in your claim. I pledge to help you keep your independence and to end Oren, to win our Freedom and declare ourselves a free people. My men are yours, I am yours, we will fight for our freedom!" *He then signs the letter and seals with the Claxdon sigil. Turning to his steward he orders him to find the Flays and deliver the note to them. As his steward runs off, he can't help but smile.*

ImpinAintEZ 442 Share Posted July 12, 2013 Servius Flay smiles as he dusts off his armor and makes the necessary preparations for war. As he begins sharpening his blade, Servius' grin wides as he says, "I think the blood of Orenian soldiers will compliment the glow of this blade quite well." ACanadianCraft (Nate) 682 Share Posted July 12, 2013 Mason Owynson sat in Riven's lumberyard, his axe or iron lodged firmly in a stump next to him. The past few weeks had been heart shattering for him. The glorious Empire which he was raised in had all but disolved due to the weekness of noble welps who knew not how to lead. And with it disolved his patriotism. However... Mason maintained a hardy grin, and thanked his bloody stars that he had chosen Riven as his place of residence. Galahar seemed to be the beacon of hope he was looking for, to salvage the ideals of The True Empire. Mason looked up the mountain to Silverblade Keep, and wondered how best to prove his loyalty to what appeared to be a rising star.
Bashar al-Assad 120 Share Posted July 12, 2013 Father Raymond raises a brow. In about one elven week the Holy Oren Empire has collapsed completely following the leave of the Orenian administration and military. Leaving a weak ruler as the only man left was a bad decision. The end has finally come. ((What a classic CK2 ending.))
