Diamonds (Carbarum) can be ground into Carbarum Dust. It's now gunpowder and doesn't 'explode'. I think we're planning to write some lore to back it up.

Not much I can do about that. That's just the randomness that is WEdit distribution. The only way I could avoid that is by using... god, I can;t even remember it, but Hiebe suggested it: Some sort of painting program.

Not to mention, how the **** would you make a sword out of diamond? And how would you not just slash yourself to pieces with it? Honestly?

 

The same way you rationalize a world made entirely of cubes, with mechanics that allow you to move and function as a person made of various blocks loosely held together by joints with little movement, eat more than a viking with the munchies over the course of one day, and place constructs of stone and wood with your bare hands to create massive structures. With your endless imaginification.

 

And if you truly must be so block-headed (har-har! get it?), then there's accepted lore that transmutes diamond into a super-hard metal called Carbarum. Thank Lago for that one.

 

And props to you, Ever! Though I must say I rather wish diamond armor and weaponry could make some form of a return.
