Edit: This should be very useful information Lago. Yesterday I was concidering solutions to malinor's root problem, being no different in rp than abresi, and solutions that can be done to fix that. This should give me some good-info about this problem, if the correct amount of people follow through with the poll.

While I'm sure the massive lead the High Elves have is timezone disparity mainly, there may be a culture/lack of culture influence as well. A proper Wood Elf/Dark Elf culture, distinct from humans and clearly accessible to new players would likely do wonders.

It's there, people have just chosen that is not the type of elf they want to play, or it's obscure in how it's to be played and requires guidance of sorts to perform it. A malinor-elf guide could be in order, similar to the thirty I always see on the high elf page

Easterners are a whole different board game. You don't get whitewash Easterners because a whitewash Easterner is a generic LotC human. There isn't anything to compare them against (High Elves have Impures, Orcs have Whitewashes, Kats have Ape Kha, Malinori Elves have Pointy-Eared Humans). They're a culture only, rather than a subrace with a culture. There are no Easterners not acting like Easterners because if you aren't acting like an Easterner then you aren't one.

Mali'laurir is the group of high elves who still think themselves superior but are too cool for racism. So the mali'aheral think them impure. Mali'laurir have to, however, be high elves.
