All Ends With Beginnings

Hello my LoTC community, family, haters, lovers, and friends;

 

Unfortunately this as you may or may not have guessed it; is my leaving post. 

 

I started this server a month before the switch to Asulon, after a month and some change i became a GM, then Admin; then a ghost. My Adminship had brought about some very swift changes and order to the LoTC staff; unfortunately my real life made a complete 360 and i had to take a leave to get myself back together. It was probably the most difficult time of my life, and i've gone through deaths, rockbottom, and hardships that some would fine impossible to have a normal life. However, i got through this last brick wall, and what was on the other side was a completely new life. When i sat back down to rejoin this community, everything had changed, all the little changes i made; i didn't make them to withstand the lack of myself. So from my own absentmindedness; i was back at ground zero and knew nothing of the changes made outside of the GM team. As i tried to figure it all out, i realized that i just don't have the time or concentration to do this anymore. I was made partner by my dad to run the family corporation and being the 4th generation a lot of pressure is on my shoulders. I just would be wasting a seat by continuing to remain on this staff. There are a lot more qualified and active staff and player members who could do a better job than I. So with my leave comes the promotion of Rittsy. And hopefully with this end comes a new beginning. 

 

 

Farewell LoTC, i wish you all the best and hope that you all as players realize that you only see one side of a coin, the truths of admin decisions are based on both sides.

 

Your current Admins are:

Rittsy: Lore (covers magic lore as well)

Tythus: Media and Forums

Danny: Community Relations/Manager

Urasept: Villian and GM team leader.

 

Everything else is ran by GMs, which is the way it should be. Don't complain too much about these 4 guys not being in game so much, in the past Admins in Game weren't doing adminship duties; they were Role-playing and ignoring modreq. The amount of Forum PMs, Skype PMS, and TS pokes that come through once an admin is enough to keep you daily LoTC time filled. If you guys want change, you want something new, then do it yourselves. If you wait around for someone to do it for you, you will disappoint yourselves and burn out.

I know I didn't always speak highly of your administration, but I always spoke highly of your character. You were good, fair, and a solid leader when you were around. You helped us in a dark time, and kept us going. Thank you.

 

It's a really encouraging thing to see that you came out stronger, after all this hurt that was placed upon you so unfairly. Live life the best you can, and keep being the good man that you are.
