The Bogdanistani Scrolls

Scrolls of Godanistan

Prelude
These scrolls, were found by both Bogdanistan and Siegmund Carrion while on their adventure to meet the Old Raevir Hordes.  With divine intervention, Bogdanistan translated the texts of old into new, modern writings.  Not all of the Scrolls are completely translated, and more will be uncovered in time.  Currently two out of the five are completely translated.  The word Godanistan, is the Raevir term for “The Creator,” and is not another Diety, simply another name for the Creator.

Scroll of Creation

In the beginning, there was simply nothing.  No trees growing, no flowers blooming, no birds singing in the skies so high.  There was simply darkness.  However, in a moment, a flash of light came to be, a light that took away darkness from the land.  This light was Godanistan, born of light, the one most know as “The Creator.”  It was he who created the worlds and skies above.   He would reign supreme from the skies above, but he had nothing to reign.   He created the Aenguls & Daemons, to watch above and keep Godanistan company in the Seven Skies.  So he created the mortal races, with Horen as the First Prophet of the Humans, who was created first.  Malin came after, the Keeper of the Elven Race.  And after, came Urguan the Hearty Defender of the Dwarven Race.  Last came Krug the Father of the Orcish Race.

The four races were made, to be test subjects of Godanistan, for him to see the purest of all the races.  Iblees was created by Godanistan, a figure of ultimate evil and corruption.  He went to each of the four brothers, to test each of the leaders of the races.  First came Horen, the eldest of the Brothers.  Iblees attempted to corrupt the man, he promised him many things, the of which last came immortality.  He knew what it meant, as all brothers were already immortal.  He saw it as a trick, and he took it, knowingly so that Godanistan would know, which one was incorruptible and knowing.  As a result, Godanistan allowed the Humans, the Chosen Race of Godanistan to enter the Seven Skies.  Malin came second, one who wished for his children to run free.  Iblees told him he would have his children, and Malin was overjoyed.  Fooled by his trick, when attempting to ftb he noticed that he could not make children anymore, he was barren, as was the rest of his people.  Godanistan sent Malin a gift, one to fool him once more, Immortality which he already possessed.

Iblees ventured to Urguan’s deep caves, filled with diamonds and gems, and he went and told Urguan he could have unimaginable amounts of diamonds and gems.  Urguan quickly accepted the offer and began to shrink, to a smaller height and Iblees told him that his curse of Greed and Lust had overtaken him forever.  Godanistan, seeing the actions of Urguan, he felt saddened by Urguan’s lack of mind and so he gave to him clarity of mind, along with strength and hardiness to persevere the curse.  Krug, the youngest, brashest, and boldest of the four brothers.  He challenged Iblees to open combat, to simply fight and see who would be victorious for that was all that he wanted.  Iblees transformed into a hideous beast of the void. His skin turned into scales, fangs erupted and dark horns exploded from his head. He grew large wings and began to breath terrible fire. All stood in shock and horror.  And so, Krug and he came forwards and fought, and due to Krug’s brashness and boldness, he was quickly touched by the corruption of Iblees and his skin turned green, tusks resembling the horns of iblees came from his mouth, and he was vanquished, now as a hideous, corrupted beast.  Godanistan saw the wicked monster Krug became, and he gave him the ability to fight with Honor and Valor, for his lack of material goods made him strong, however he was not strong enough.

With these tests, Iblees vanished, placed into the Void, home of Darkness and Nothingness, as Godanistan the Creator did not have a purpose for him.

Scroll of Custom
Here are the customs that through time, the most holy Godanistan has guided us into practicing.  These are religious ceremonies that Godanistan has intervened in us practicing.  They are all Holy Rituals and will be administered by a Priest or Bishop.

On Baptism and Acceptance into the Church
The first of the Holy Customs of Godanistan is the entrance of one’s soul and body into the Church of Godanistan.  The process is the joining of one’s soul with Godanistan’s and takes a considerable amount of time praying and contacting Godanistan before the ceremony.  When one decides to join the Church of Godanistan, the Priest is aid in prayers towards to Godanistan so that the contendant is able to reach the ears of Godanistan.  As young are pure of heart, they require not to pray to Godanistan and are able to be accepted with simple ritual.

After time in solace, praying and repenting to Godanistan for their false acts, the candidate is considered ‘ready’ for acceptance into the mother church and will proceed with the ceremony to join the church.  Ceremonies may take place in in solitude, in a group, or with an audience watching the ceremony.

The ceremony itself is a basic ceremony of stating vows before the Good Godanistan and if the candidate is unable to say vows for reasons of age or mental disorders, another will say them for him, and acknowledge his acceptance for the church.  In order to be closer to the eyes and ears of Godansitan, each candidate is given a small bird to hold, whether it be a pigeon, crow, raven, or any other is not important.  The bird signifies the presence of Godansitan, as it is known that Godanistan works through Aenguls and Aenguls most of time take the shape of bird.  The candidate is asked to kneel, tucking the bird to his chest and the priest begins to state vows and the candidate replies with “Yes” or “I do.”  The vows are as follows.

  • You do agree, to only worship in Godanistan?  Not any other false creations of mighty Godanistan?

  • You do agree, to be loyal to church of Godanistan, and to follow his laws?

  • You do agree, to be holy man and servant to take upon self to bring will of Godanistan out on the unholy and assist in times of troubles and evil

  • You do agree, to make removal of all heathen, heretic, and the like from premises and work to make others worship of Godanistan.

  • You do agree, to make take Holy Name of Raevir tongue, to be official name in all Church Documents and before Godanistan.

On Marriage & Binding of Soul
To create marriage between two persons, one person must be of male, the other female.  Marriage is sacred binding of soul between two persons.   The concept of marriage involved binding of the soul for eternity, and the bindings will not be separated unless Godanistan wills it to be.    Both persons must be loyal to Godanistan and must worship of Godanistan in order to be married.  Marriage is to be done in Holy Church of Godanistan, under the watchful eyes of the Seven Skies.  Marriage is also for the creation of children, and children born outside of Wedlock are not real people.  With the creation of children in mind, and to continue Human virtues, marriage cannot merge two blood types or races.  Marriage is only to be done between humans and humans, elves and elves, dwarves and dwarves, orcs and orcs, or any other alien races.  It is known the creation of half-breeds makes sickly and fickle offspring.  The right to

The ceremony of Matrimony involves the Groom standing before the altar on the left of the priest.  The bride walks towards the altar once the wedding begins, lead by the father of the bride or closest male relative.  The bride walks forwards, standing at the right side of the priest and the couple symbolically holds hands.  Once the binding of hands is mimicked, the bond cannot break for the remained of the wedding.
