A Hydromancy Tome For Sale

A hydromancy tome has been found, and due to popular demand for tomes of magical promience. It is being put up for auction.

Bidding will start at 100 minas. The auction ends on 10/7/2013 and then and only then will the recipient be decided.

 

All bidders are required to place thier bids here. All other forms will be ignored unless specially arranged by the Auctioner.

Edric shrugs as he saunters up to the board, pulling a crinkled up paper from his bag, it looking to have been pinned up elsewhere, he slips two nails out of a pouch by his side, hammering away at the paper, pinning it right below the original seller's paper, he then slips out a blank sheet, hammering that into the board aswell, it reads.

"How peculiar, I seem to have found a man who sells such books for thirty times less than what your STARTING price is, oh well."

He waddles off awkwardly in his full plate armor before returning once again.

 

Edric clonks up to the board along with a Plebeian this time, who is holding some sort of metal cage in his hands. Edric points to the ground right below the sign, nodding to the pleb. The Plebeian nods back respectfully and sets the cage down on the ground where he was directed to. When one looks close enough they can see a book inside. Edric pulls out another spare paper and nails it below his previous post on the board, he quickly scribbles down on the paper, drawing a arrow to point down at the cage below.

"Have yourself a gander at this book here, I think this is what you refer to, if I am right then I would like to start at a starting price of five minas,"

Edric carefully reads over his note and checks the cage over, being sure the cage is tightly sealed, a small lock holding a door on the bottom shut. Edric would look over to the Plebeian and say calmly to him. 

"Watch this for me, I will return shortly."

Edric turns and wanders off into the distance aimlessly, chuckling to himself. If someone asked the Plebeian if the man was serious, he would simply shake his head at them.

(( I'm pretty sure the Hydromancy book sold by Rosso isn't an actual tome, but a only a book on a subject. A tome can teach you magic, the one you're talking about ,Duck, cannot. ))

Edric wanders up to the board once more, the Plebeian having fallen asleep but luckily for him the cage still being there. Edric chuckles at the snoring Plebeian before looking to the board, the grin being wiped off his face as he takes in the offers made to the holder of the book. He stutters, seeming speechless before blurting out.

"That right there is the same thing as what he is selling, please do not allow yourselves to be tricked just because this person waves a bit of false hope under your nose. I mean really my 'guard dog' fell asleep! You could have just stolen the same thing, you would have saved thousands!"

Edric lets in a sudden gasp of air as he finished his tiny rant, frowning at the board. He turns to the Plebeian and gives his leg a hard kick to jolt him awake. (Sariant abuuse) The Plebeian sputters to life and throws himself out of his seat, standing up straight to face Edric. Edric points to the cage which the Pleb quickly collects, he turns to the board and rips down all of his notes, simply shaking his head as they both walk off, the Plebeian rubbing his leg and glaring at the mean Sariant, muttering things under his breath.
