nobody thought women clergy would be a thing, and yet they now are, besides, not allowing such marriages does not make someone a homophobe in rp or ooc'ly, trying to label everyone a homophobe for the arguments they make in rp just doesn't stick

Trying to oocly force the church to officiate marriages is not the way to get it done, make that change in rp rather than ooc enforcement. I'm also sure civil marriages exist in most canonist nations

any form of romance rp should be banned, period the only reason marriages should exist is for the continuation of a bloodline and not for any form of romance rp, regardless of who it is married

tbh, just because the church didn't officiate homosexual marriages doesn't mean everybody is against it. I think the 'canonist princes' post just drew out a lot of people who would act in rp due to ooc hatred whereas before it was generally not a problem. Don't go to places where you know it is taboo in rp

"Those canonist princes knew what they were doing and openly defied canon law. Regardless of ones opinion on the issue presented by them, they stopped very short of schism and that should not be ignored." He remarked.

"For a race of people whose numbers dwindle by the day, I don't think they have time to give their take on humanities affairs and should instead focus on themselves, repopulating their race. Also why is this missive so indecipherable, why has he written his accent?" Asked Rhys.

"Those canonist princes stopped very short of schism, making demands of the Pontiff to change accepted doctrine. Everybody turned a blind eye to it for so long, they stupidly shone a light onto an issue that had been better left unattended for the hate filled peasants will now be hunting those who had previously lived peacefully." remarked Rhys.

"The Church never really acted against these people, so long as they didn't gloat and cause obscene scenes, such as with usual couples. Vy have drawn a light to an issue that was better left undisturbed, this will do more damage then good. Vy should have left it alone." remarked Rhys

They should be limited to one disguise, if they get discovered in their diisguise then that is on them. The same can apply to everybody, for example: a knight could work up the ranks and plots treason, he gets discovered and executed for it, how is it fair and reasonable that they could change all of their physical features and looks to repeat it all over again, every time they get discovered? This is the same situation but reversed as if a dark CA is discovered attacking somebody in their disguise, they can change their disguise to do it all over again, every time, this is simply not fair, actions have consequences

it is incredibly unfair people can put in the rp in discovering somebody, only for them to return in a brand new disguise, it defeats the entire point, a disguise should be used to conceal their true identity, they should only have the ability to have one disguise, use it wisely i recall chasing a frost witch through haense, only for them to go behind a door, change skins 'change disguise' in seconds and then emerge and we couldn't do anything, its simply unfair

why have a weakness that you're then going to try and remove when its uncovered This would be a good point if most dark CA's didn't have the ability to change their disguise to someone entirely new when uncovered, the fact they can just change their disguise if they are uncovered is incredibly stupid and unfair

I would disagree as all of the tells they would have are able to be hidden with disguises, though something that I feel should be clarified on what the nature of a disguise is, I've personally experienced a frost witch being chased whilst in their disguise, they went behind a door and quickly change into another disguise. How many different disguises can a frost witch take on, is it indefinite?

But this is similiar to vampires trying to remove their tell because people figured it out through rp, it appears like there are no tells at all in the lore written. Much like the vampires tried, in this lore frost witches can disguise their own blood to appear normal which doesn't entirely make sense. Their blood is turned to slush due to their very nature, it doesn't really make sense for them to be able to change their blood type on a whim simply so they don't get caught. There doesn't seem to be any drawbacks to taking on a disguise too, a disguise shouldn't be a cop out for real interactions and infiltration which is what it is mostly used for

It is sad that almost every single 'dark magic' I see on this server has a no consequence form of disguise that completely negates all of the drastic effects and tolls it takes on a frost witches body, for example a simple disguise should not be able to hide its freezing temperature

mutations like that are dumb anyway, nobody should have the ability to dodge things like arrows just because you're looking at them. also remove mechanical limbs next please, its such a cop out. people literally get their limbs chopped off just to get magical replacements with 3 different enchantments so they can shoot out fire and block swords with their arms, remove remove remove
