no ******* way staff is expecting us to build huge keeps and builds in survival right???? they remove pastes and LC plugin isn't ready for "the forseeable future" that is absolutely ridiculous and does not incentivise me to contribute to any vassals/lairs/etc builds because i will spend 10+ hours on a build server with room and infinite resources to make mistakes and undo them in the build, then i will have to spend perhaps double that gathering resources and rebuilding it by hand AGAIN on live with litematica, don't even get me started on terraforming in survival. if this is a continuing occurrence i forsee huge stagnation in terms of scenery on the server

Is anyone writing ghost lore, or is ghost lore available anywhere for players to build on? I don’t think ghost lore is currently accepted.

I understand removing warp signs will always be unpopular, but I love they’re gone and support the Admins, +1

@DISCOLIQUID I think if you can pay for railroad tracks you can pay for armed guards, also railroads don’t really make much sense IRP’ly right now. I’d more support having like, 4 warps maximum throughout the map, not right by any particular nation (like in a protected forest area, no build but banditry & pvp are on). Make people walk between settlements, but throw a bone to Korvassa and the Queen’s isles.

Wait so crossbows take the same emotes as bows??? I thought a key difference was that a crossbow took longer to prepare???

@TheAlphaMoist because they do lmao, crossbows you have to load the bolt, pull back the mechanism / the winch / the lever, aim and fire. Estimates varry but 1 minute per crossbow shot sounds standard, english longbow could be less that 10 seconds but tbh that sounds pretty long, an extremely skilled archer could fire multiple shots per second with a shortbow in quick bursts.
I honestly think in CRP if were to have a standard, it should be 2 emotes for a standard sword swing, (emote pulling back / telegraph the attack), 3 for a bow, and at least 4 for a crossbow just for OOC balance’s sake. Unfortunately people do 1 emote longsword attacks, so its not really an option to accurately rp crossbows.

can someone argue in favor of nation leaders and the immediate orbiters around them having positions as staff? Is that not a conflict of interests? Genuinely curious, not trying to stir the pot. I’m open to hearing arguments in favor of such because I can’t think of any myself – but present the case and I may very well change my mind! Thanks lads.
