  7. [!] A missive spreads across the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska. While the words were definitely thought of by children, it is clear that an adult had some hand in helping write the missive. Whereas: The false and wrong Ruthern Koeng has tried to overthrow the rightful Koeng of Hoonseti-Rooska and therefore started a war between the Pretenders and the Loyalist forces, we the Children of the Bishop Family now want to proclaim our support for Koeng Sergei. We will fight to make sure the Koeng is kept in his rightful position and that no Ruthern pretender can take the throne from him so long as he is Koeng! On behalf of: The Children of House Bishop

  9. Firme en Armas Issued by decree of His Lordship, Javier de Pelear On the 14th of Snow's Maiden in the year 58 of the Second Age PREAMBULO It has been too long since the last gathering of the families of the Hyspian people, and with this missive the Baronial House de Pelear seeks to summon members of several important Hyspian families to meet in Arenisca to discuss the future of our people and Arenisca as the sole unifying Hyspian state. This will not only be a chance to discuss, but to petition or bring up your thoughts on certain situations. All discussions will remain civil, and those who purposefully cause uproar within the Summit will be promptly removed. With this in mind, the House de Pelear does seek to invite the following Hyspian families to this summit: 1. House de Rivera and its patriarch, Cesar de Rivera II 2. House Mendez and its patriarch, Ser Carlos Mendez 3. House Monet-Vanari and its matriarch, Frisket Monet-Vanari 4. House Guenevere and its matriarch, Emerald Guenevere While these are the formally-invited families, any and all Hyspians may attend to discuss what they wish and bring forth whatever petitions they may have. Signed, Javier de Pelear, Baron of Arenisca

  15. "What a travesty..." said a very unamused Ragnvald, who thought it was probably one of his anti-alcohol children who did it. He then made a mental note to talk to his children later.

  17. "Mali detected, opinion rejected!" said a certain Human of unknown origin as he stroked his elongated beard and tossed the missive into the fire before going into a raving fit. "I hate the elves I hate the elves I hate the elves I hate the elves!"
  18. In the harsh mountains of the Raenrland sat the Tribesmen. The Tribesmen who, for years, had been keeping a close eye on Rathonian settlement, and had decided that enough was enough. Recently, a band of their warriors had encountered a patrol of Ashguardsmen, and to them this was the final straw. To them, the Ashguard, and Norland as a whole, was preparing to stomp them out once and for all. And so, the Tribesmen decided to give a final warning to the men of the North before they returned to their old ways of war. [!] Soon, a message reached the Palace of Varhelm and Dunrath respectively, and multiple copies were sent throughout the Rathonian lands. To the King of Norland and the Jarl of Dunrath: We are the people of the mountains. The ones you call 'the tribesmen' or 'savages'. We do not seek to negotiate, and take this missive not as a chance to establish diplomacy, but as a threat for if you do not accept our terms. For too long the Rathonians and Norlanders have come into Our mountains and pushed us aside from Our lands. To this we say; No more. Now, you will hear our terms and obey, or the Jarldom of Dunrath will face the brutality and destruction of War, such that has not been seen since our first battles with Norland many years ago. We slew your people, drove you from the mountains, and left you defeated. We had thought you did not have the stomach to come into our mountains again, but it appears we were wrong. Now, our demands are as follows: 1. The Jarldom of Dunrath will be restricted to pre-expansion borders 2. The Fortress known as "Fort Cathrine" will be abandoned and destroyed 3. The Settlement known as "Gränsstad" will be abandoned and destroyed 4. Construction of estates outside the walls of Dunrath City will be halted 5. Construction of roads throughout the Raenrland will be halted 6. The Kingdom of Norland and Jarldom of Dunrath will deliver us 10,000 ingots of solid gold as payment for damage done to our mountains These terms are non-negotiable. Should you refuse; we will raid your settlements, burn your fortresses, slaughter your warriors, and take your citizens captive. We, the rightful rulers of the mountains, give you two months to accept these terms (ooc: two days). Make the right decision, King of Norland and Jarl of Dunrath.
  19. Upon hearing of the demise of his Bastard Son, Oisin O'Breathnach promptly locked himself in his room and seldom spoke to anybody for days on end with the exception of his wife. Judging by the whispers of the servants and the rumors that circulated around the Roza estate, it was clear that Oisin had been left in a state of emotional ruin upon the death of Szymon. One night, alone in his chambers, Oisin muttered a small prayer for the soul of his child. No matter what Szymon had thought of himself, to Oisin, his son had never been meaningless to him. "One day I will see you again...One day..."
  20. Viktor Bishop frowns from the Seven Skies "Why does the Mercatorii not fight against Oren? Back in my day, we bombed Orenian buildings whenever we had the chance! Now...the MRA is reduced to an Orenian puppet. Hell, they fight for an Excommunicated Emperor, they are no longer true canonists in that regard!" With that, the spirit spit upon the floor, and walked away.
  21. Ragnvald Eiriksson Ruric, Marshal of the Ashguard and Prince of Norland, prepares to bring the Entire Ashguard to enjoy the feast with their Urguani comrades! "Mark down the date boys! We've got a feast to attend!"
  22. Ragnvald Eiriksson Ruric prepares to attend alongside his clanmates.
  23. The jagged mountains of the Raenrland stretch into the clouds, the top of the mountains unable to be seen by the naked eye Dunrath. Home of the United Clans of Barr and Suther and the center of Rathonian politics. For years, the tribesmen of the Mountains looked upon the settlement with a mild distrust. They had not expected such a small settlement to be a threat to their people in the mountains. After all, the tribesmen had the Svarlings and other matters to prioritize rather than a sparsely-populated town in the middle of nowhere. Even so, their eyes never left the Rathonian settlement, and soon their distrust grew larger as they witnessed the Rathonians expand further into the mountain ranges. The Tribesmen watched as the Rathonians constructed Fort Cathrine. A Fortress, on the very doorstep of the mountains. Being unaware of the border with Oren, the Tribesmen had automatically assumed the Fortress was there to keep them in place, and the Tribesmen began to consider taking action. However, the final straw came soon after, when they witnessed Rathonian settlers move directly south of Dunrath and settled the town of Gränsstad. No more, the Tribesmen had concluded. No more would they let the Rathonians and the Jarl of Dunrath encroach upon their territory, which had been theirs for decades before the Norlanders came. They had fought tooth and nail against the Norlanders during the Skanarri war to secure the mountains for their people, and even after the rest of the Skanarri fled Norland they remained in the Raenrland. They had assumed, especially with the course of the last war, that the Norlandic people would not send settlers into the Mountains again. Clearly, they had misjudged the Kingdom of Norland. The Mountain Tribesmen sharpened their blades once more. [!] Soon, the Rathonian settlers in both Dunrath and Gränsstad would notice increased activity within the mountain ranges surrounding their settlements. So too would they notice that those who now traversed into the mountains seldom returned back.
  24. My mercatorii persona's death was not in vain...Viva Mercatore!

  25. Ragnvald Eiriksson Ruric frowns as he remembers when he and Friedrich founded Nuurlund. Nonetheless, he does nothing about it aside from hand his lover the missive. ( @wowsirss)
