Hello everyone, It’s been a busy holiday season for us all, and we can only hope that this next year will be better than the last. Unfortunately, the ST have come to the decision to shelf most of the lore on the server, for your own good, without consulting the community. After all, we know far better than you lot. Elves Elves has been a pretty polarizing piece of lore among the community for quite some time. We have eventually come to realize that being able to live forever is rather overpowered, and that is all that elves have gained. All of the elves now live to the same age as humans. People were also concerned about them using their sharp ears as 'natural weapons', so they now have ears like the rest of humans. All elven players are hereby banned by Safety Team, unless changed to Human immediately. The only exception are staff who have elven characters, who are now 'hidden lore', and solely event characters. Dwarves Upon release, Dwarves seemed to be a lore piece that the community loved. There was an astounding 20,000+ apps in the eight years upon its release, though it has since fallen from the peak it saw prior. Currently, there are 2455 (might as well be one) active dwarven player. They were met with a rocky start despite the surge in applications, with failure to create civilizations that wouldn't lag your PC due to their complexity. This, along with the myriad of meme roleplay that came with the race-- such as a retirement home. Reports of hoarding knowledge to make 'steamboats' and 'trains' have made us give their inventions to humans, as no race should realistically be able to keep knowledge that well hidden. Fortunately, all dwarven players can still be played. They must look like Peter Dinklage, however, and are a subrace of humans. All dwarves must change their build, and switch their race to Human, dwarfish subrace. Failure to comply will result in a 3 week ban. Orcs We've been trying to kill you guys for years. You've somehow ******* survived us putting you in the worst of places each map, and oppressive OOC upkeep conditions. **** you, go away Banned. All Dwarven, Elven and Orcish villages As dwarves and elves are now extinct, their villages have vanished. The dwarves forgot the key to the gate and are permanently locked out. The elven villages have been chopped down for wood, to turn into paper for the Lord's High School. Krugmar has met the same fate. Dwarven, Elven and Orcish villages cannot be entered, and trying to enter them will result in a kick. Sutica Sutica is ugly. Sutica is now a large crater. Magic Magic has been a hotly-debated topic for some time, but we have decided that it's a bit too much work for ST to approve magic apps. We have to spend all of our time approving non-ST member's lore and claiming it as our own, y'know?! It's a lot of damn work! **** it! Magic is gone. None of you get it! No more powergaming! Everyone with magic has been labelled a 'witch' and hung by a jury, except the magical main character of the Lord's High School with a SUPER dark and edgy past. The main character will be decided at random, with ST members getting 100 extra lots. Oren Oren has graciously decided to accept most of our ST members as principals and teachers in their new project: The Lord's High School. From 8 AM to 4 PM every in-game day, every user in the map will be teleported to the Lord's High School. We have decided to turn 80 percent of Oren into a 'School Roleplay' environment, with grades from 9 to 12. All of the grinding and mina in the map will be used to pay the tuition of the school's members- as it is a prestigious high-school that you only get into when you apply on the whitelist! We have decided to change the IP to Lotc.roleplay.edu. Of course, should any questions, concerns, or comments be had, please state them below.
