  1. Haleth Maevisal shields his eyes, trudging his way through the cold snow. How long has he been walking? ...Few hours, maybe... The cold seems to bite at him. For some reason, he thinks back to Mellow, and as he does a wall of white obscures his vision. 'Have I gone blind?' He wonders. Maybe it's the cold. But he hasn't gone blind, for he looks in front of him and sees a girl. She looks no more than 10, dressed in a white rag. "Hello?" No response. "You must be cold... you looking for Haense?" Still, no response. It's at this moment that Haleth feels an incredible fear set into him. There's something innately terrifying about this girl, something that chills him to the bone. But then the wall of white is back, and then it's gone, and she's cupping his thin cheekbones in her hands, and she's whispering... "Smile." Haleth stumbles back, all of his memories of Mellow flooding back. He raises his dagger, one curved slayersteel blade with a nasty looking edge. He looks at the girl, her hands still in the same position. She tilts her head towards him, and disappears in a wall of snow. Haleth slowly turns around in a full circle. And then she's onto him, slashing his hand making him drop his sword, then slashing at his face, clawing at his eyes. Haleth raises his arms, trying to block, but his arms are slashed, and they fall into the deep snow. He slowly sinks into the snow, as his face becomes an unimaginable, slashed away nightmare. His blindfold is torn off, and Vaasek's blessing with it. He can't see, all he can feel is pain and terror, and he screams, until the girl bites away his neck. Haleth's head falls to the snow, dead. The girl leaves, in the same wall of snow that she came. There will be no tears shed for Haleth. No songs sung, for his death was not an honourable one. No, his death was one of terror, one of snow, and one of pain.
  2. I have no idea what's going on but I love it-
  3. Dante Lo peeks out from behind a corner in the road, and spots Peralien leaving. "I told you William... I did say that the city would die." He turns away, and makes his way to the Druids Grove.
  4. As someone who's done a ridiculous amount of Fear RP, it gets old very quickly if no one else is willing to engage in it. For example, you can make your character be scared of, say, heights! But when you rp your fear of heights, others will just make a small, one line response like 'Get a backbone, yeh coward'. And won't engage with it at all. Trying to inspire fear in others is basically asking to be laughed at, and it's a shame. Perhaps it should be a requirement for every char to have at least one fear?
  5. Dante's eyes rove over the image. "Worth keeping an eye out for... 200 minas is a lot."
  6. A letter would be sent to Peralien’s mailbox! Dear Peralien. How’s it going? You missed me? I’d think not. I’ve been following Rosania for a while. Shame Oisin lost his nerve… anyways. We’ve had quite the experience, haven’t we? I broke your legs in Ando, and I’ve attacked you many times. Can’t remember them too well. But I’ve gotten bored. And I want to move on. But, I want to win. I want to kill you. I’m far too proud to lose to such a… pathetic opponent. Meet me at the tree North of Talon’s port that has a hole in it. That’s where we’ll have a last standoff. If you kill me, I’m free. If I kill you, mission accomplished. Then, I kill myself. We both die, or only I die. By the way, don’t bring anyone else with you. Or I’ll kill Bella, Delphi, Lutoris, William, all slowly and painfully. Don’t doubt my resources. I’ve taken time to prepare. Look where it will get you. Actually, I should probably lay that out. If I get to… kill you, I’ll do it slowly. Where I’m at right now has torture devices, so… maybe that. Or I could just lop your head off and drop it at Delphi’s feet. Or at the gate of Rosania. Or maybe at Bella’s? Give em a bit of a scare. You’re probably really angry right now. I would be to! You’re holding a piece of your adopted son’s arm’s skin, cut off by one of your friends, because I drove him insane. What you going to do about it? I don’t’ care if you kill me. And you can’t torture me, either. I mean, what will you do? I don’t care if you hurt me. You can do any-THING you want, as long as you die. Good luck. You’re going to need it. Sincerely, Nathaniel Calding OOC: This is a direct letter to Peralien, delivered to her doorstep. Please do not metagame it.
  7. Xerxes Lo reads over the missive, shrugging. “Bet this ‘Watcher’ person is annoyed. Dante would love this…”
  8. Dante Lo sighs, penning him back only two words. “Good man.”
  9. Dante Lo snorts. “I don’t want your forgiveness. You’ve painted us to be in the wrong. Good thing I left Rosania…”
  10. [!] A letter is sent to all those in Rosania and Sedan, hoping that one will find its way to Osion. Dear Oisin, I am a PKS soldier. You may remember me from the day that I joined the PKS? You gave me the armour that I put on, headed back out. You called me a handsome lad, remember? Then it was the coronation, though. Next day, I left early to attempt to find the first raiders. I’m still looking, though right now I’m in a nice little cottage near Haense. And here I am, doing research, looking through books, asking around… till a missive arrives, from you! Saying that you are starting a rebellion against William for incompetence, and personal insult towards your wife. Don’t **** around Oisin, you just want a throne. Next day, ANOTHER missive comes, from William! Saying that you’re a terrible son, blah blah blah, send a vote for king. I voted you. I voted for you, in the hope that William would apologise for the insult, or some sort of resolution would be reached. Next day. Next ******* [!] Here, an inked out fist would be visible. Probably from Dante slamming the table. day, a missive arrives from Rosania. Telling me that you, and your men, have raided the town with Sedan, killing 70 people. Don’t know what to say really. I mean, apparently you didn’t want innocents to be killed, look where we are now. Bella dead. The people terrified… even your own family hating you. Diona to be hanged. Wonder how that went… not important. What IS important, is what you want. Do you want to be King of Rosania? Or do you want William to stop his incompetence. Or apologise for his slights. Because, you know, you are William’s bastard son. You do not have a legitimate claim to the throne. Your entire rebellion sums up to, ‘Oh, he’s a bad king. And he insulted me.’ I may be wrong. Please write back if so. What’s the point, Oisin. The people hate you, or should anyways. They don’t think you’re right, they fear and disrespect you. They hate how you’ve brought in Sedan. What skin does Sedan have in this anyways? What’s to stop then from just taking Rosania when you’re finished with your ‘work.’ Because, they shouldn’t be trusted. You apparently said no innocents killed, yet here you are, with 70 dead people on your hands. What now? You going to just say, ‘oh, I’ll talk to them about it. I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again.’ No. You’ve killed seventy people. By all rights, that far outweighs any suffering that William has caused Rosania. You, you, have turned into the evil tyrant that you envision William to be. The circle goes round, round, round, and round. There’s no point in ruling a city if the people hate you. Rosania has never tolerated those of evil nature, and that is what you have painted yourself out to be. It seems that I left at the wrong time. One final thing- if Elion is dead, I’ll be the one to chop your head off. Sincerely, Dante Lo.

  12. Dante Lo reads the missive from his cottage, a quite anger escaping him. “Oisin… you’ve lost public support. And William had enlisted help. What’s you’re move?” Nathaniel Calding rolls back and laughs in the cathedral, quite amused. “Looks like Oisin will do it before I manage to even start! Fair play.”
  13. Dante Lo grins at the missive. “Don’t know who you think you’re kidding Oisin. He’ll call in the rustlers, then it’s game over… anyways, chaos rules.” Username: satinkira RP name: Dante Lo Address: Arazo Avenue, VII Vote: Oisin Buckfort
  14. Dante Lo receives the missive, looking back at the fading city. “ Perhaps I shouldn’t have left…” He sighs. “Oh well… too late now.”
