It is going to take a fair bit of time before war rules are finalised. With the new systems of Vortex and Surge being introduced, war will also need to be adjusted for balance. Once Moderation learns the extent that Vortex and Surge have affected conflict, they will be able to draft some war rules. This in itself can take some time because not only do they need to make them functional and balanced, but they also need to be made enjoyable for the wider playerbase. From my time in Moderation and being involved in the Almaris War project, I can assure you that a functional system is being worked on by all relevant members of staff. Just be patient, fellow king. The time for war will come soon enough.

how does pvp balance affect war rules

like i honestly dont see how "oh it's longsword meta" could in any way affect something like how CBs should work

as for stuff like treb costs, etc. you could surely just rebalance them on the fly as necessary.

war rules don’t take a year to write. it took another server a few weeks iirc at the very most, but over a year is a joke. just pure buffoonery of LOTC staff & it’s pathetic bc literally nothing has happened in the year or so that I’ve been off the server other than a map transition which was long overdue and delayed bc they initially supposedly paid some **** wordpainter. stop making excuses for absolute dog **** staff @Crevel - it’s just incompetence n pvp meta has basically 0 influence on war rules.
