I am on neutral grounds with most nations themselves, however that is not the reason I apply for this position. In my time as an ambassador, I wish to improve Malinor's relations with the so-known magical orders of Anthos. I myself am to this day considered a member of the Mage's guild of Wyvernhym, as well as a known mage in Lin'evaral among the other mali'aheral mages. I have been accepted as an ally to the Arcane Delvers of Ac'telareh, and lastly I am on positive grounds with the greater figures in the world of the arcane such as sir Windraker and Ambros. Do you have any work experience, if so where and what: Another reason I feel I am greatly fit for this job. My experience goes back centuries, beginning back in the days of Aegis. When I moved out of Laurelin as a child to join a small village nearby known as New Terriko, I became a diplomat there and soon found myself in the position of head ambassador for its relationships. In Asulon, I have a rather long curriculum vitae. Starting as a guard in Alras, I built my way up to Lieutenant and eventually became a diplomat once more. I was Gulroid Goldhand's right hand in the time the dwarves ruled over Alras, and after they sold it to our recently new citizen Kyral, she unfortunately had to leave to work in Aeroch Nor. This left me in the position of King of Alras, in which I had to do most of the administration and work in the nation, my council being limited to a mere four people, including myself. This century in Anthos, I have been head administrator of the high elven laboratories and lead constructor of the eternal library. The eternal library has found itself coming to an end after the Northern creatures wrecked it, however I still hold my position of administrator of the laboratory to this day. I plan to drop it once I gain a position in Malinor. I have only rarely been arrested, and have on most occasions almost instantly been pardoned. In a home far up in Lin'evaral, sounds of demolishing and cleaning can be heard. Over the course of several days, furniture and plants seem to be disappearing from the home. Looks like the Maheral may not be the only one moving.

Silvos scoffs. His hands ringing in their sockets, he walks away angrily whikst exclaiming at whoever's reading the poster. "First they call themselves the Golden Owl Talonii, now they claim they want to remove our strongest art of defence! This is an outrage! The Sythaerin family says No to this rediculous cursed owl-movement."

Silvos walks in on the scene, and after it finishes be bluntly states "Silir'Ilume is the fimedi'ir. Well done, fool." He then walks off, shaking his head.

We'll go into more detail were it to get accepted, when we'll make a guide. And about the concept, I'll talk to the rest of the team about it.

Mixing magic [extended] Alright, so seeing as people are asking, I'll give a more in-depth explanation of mixing shade magic with other types, as well as how it works on its own a bit more. The basics of mixing Shade magic with other types lies within making those types 'darker' and adding a certain acidic effect to it. Allow me to go into a bit of detail concerning most arcane magic types. Evocation: Darkening the appearance of the evoked element, as well as giving it the aforementioned acidic effect. For instance, lightning evokationists would be able to launch black lightning, which upon impact would leave behind a small pool of the dark sludge. Illusion: No current addtions. Alteration: No current additions, spoiler below is up for debate. Telekinesis: No real uses for telekinetics, other than a debatable black outline around lifted objects. Conuration: As has been commented above, the concept of combining shade magic with conjuration would involve shade-creatures. A shade conjurist would be able to conjure creatures that'd be made out of the shadows or shadow sludge (depending on the shade's tier). These beings would then act like any other conjured creature, yet also have the effect of the sludge. Arcane evocation subtypes: Arcane missiles and arcane shields would become dark, much like any other evocation. However they'd also gain the sludge-impact ability, shields in this case being able to block things and consume them. And lastly, on its own shade magic will pretty much only be able to do what is described in the tier progression section. Shadow manipulation, orbs and tendrils and the like. Indeed, the ritual given in the lore is only a concept we wish to thrive to accomplish. However, if another party is in possession of the shade gem at the time the lore gets accepted and is able to repair the shade gem through having 2 alterationists at T4 or above, as well as an already developed shade, they'd be able to do it too. At this moment Silir'ilume is still in possession of the Shade gem.

This is already a given, you cannot create animals or creatures using the shade magic, only pulses and objects such as orbs and tendrils. To create 'shadow wolves', one would indeed require conjuration. More information about mixing magic will be given if needed. EDIT: More info has been given, and can be found on page 2.

Silvos returns to the city, walks up to the poster on the tree near the gate, and starts shivering. He lifts his hands to the poster, and aura starts forming itself around the poster. It now glows a weak cyan, and Kalenz' red text appears to have disappeared. A small note has been written underneath. "It's fairly abusive that you're defiling posters. There is no such rule in place."

Forums that should stay/go/be added? Almost every subforum is currently used, so I'd say no changes to this. Useless areas? Same as for the first question. Areas that should be added? Maybe an overall chat, or an in-browser chat hooked up to the global OOC chat ingame. I've seen servers do this. (Will require coding) What'd you think of the design?
