The forge of Kal’Mugdor remained very active this past week with continued crafting of dwarven weapons. Two Irehearts, Thormr and Urist, both smithed valiant ferrum weapons. Thormr smithed his first namesake weapon, a ferrum single headed battle axe. Meanwhile, Urist completed his second namesake weapon, a ferrum war hammer.

It is very honorable for a Dwed to craft their own namesake weapon. A weapon unique to them, something that makes them stand out in the eyes of Yemekar. Thulin II & Urist have both done that for themselves on this stone day, forging their own ferrum weapons. “Ah would loike tuh congratulate bot’ Thulin an’ Urist on both forgin’ their own weapons todeh. Mugdor-Dharok, known by the common tongue as the Mine-Beast, rose to the title of Yemekar’s Pick purely by hard work and dedication, proving that nothing can hold back a Dwed from piercing the top. Now it is time for all the laborer Dwed to prove themselves in the eyes of Urguan, and to reap the rewards of their crafts. Come all ye miners, blacksmiths, artisans and more, as your expertise is in high demand in the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. Miners: Supplied with the finest and most exclusive mine in all of Arcas, your sole job is to provide the Grand Kingdom of Urguan & Urguan’s Workers Guild with authentic Dwed ferrum ore. During times of peace, your quota is 32 ferrum ore per stone week, with addition to 16 aurum ore and 8 emeralds. In times of war or severe shortage of ferrum, expect quotas to rise to 45-64 ferrum ore per stone week. To be granted access to the mines, a one time fee of 100 minas is to be paid at the permit building, and you can conveniently store your permit in your quota chest. Upon completion of your quota, you will be rewarded a pay slip. Exchanging the pay slip at the payment building will reward you with 150 minas, a steady wage to advance yourself in Dwed society. Blacksmiths: The world remains jealous of the superior blacksmith ways of the Dwed, it is what gives us Dwed the most valuable competitive advantage in war and industry. To ensure the Grand Kingdom of Urguan remains at the top of equipment quality, the sole job of the blacksmiths are to forge exceptional armor and weapons. Metal will be supplied by Urguan’s Workers Guild, free to use by the blacksmiths. Upon completion of each weekly quota of forged goods, blacksmiths are rewarded with pay slips that can be exchanged for 150 minas. With time, your smithing abilities will become renowned across the land, and others will surely be begging for your gift. Artisans: While many Dwed may have sausage fingers, we have a limitless amount of beautiful metals and crystals to work with. Supplied by Urguan’s Workers Guild, artisans who work within Kal’Mugdor will be given supplies to create amazing crafts and jewelries that people all over Arcas will be dying to obtain. With each stone week that passes, artisans that complete their weekly quota will be awarded a pay slip worth 150 minas. By slowly chipping away imperfections from your craft, perhaps your work of art will become an heirloom of a kingdom one day. A dwarf by the name of Mugdor-Dharok was allowed access into the Mother Grove after stating he is on a search for knowledge. Unfortunately for him, the gatekeeper did not have any information about what he was looking for, nor did not know who the dwarf could talk to regarding his search. Mugdor-Dharok explored within the Mother Grove, and talked to anyone who might give him a conversation, “’Ello t’ere! Ah am a Dwed t’at goes by Mugdor-Dharok, an aspirin’ merchant and skilled miner! While workin’ in me market stall back at the city ov Kal’Evraal, ah received an order fer an item they called a “Kuila Shard”. Ah told t’is customer ah had no idea what this shard was, but wit’ a quest fer coin, ah would set out and try and locate this item! This customer specifically came tuh Kal’Evraal lookin’ fer a kuila shard affected by the volcanic activity around the city. Any help or knowledge would ‘elp me, an’ if it comes tuh it ah can reward any help wit’ coin.”
