This probably won't be accepted, mostly because a ball is something you can easily plan for yourself, in character, right now. If, for whatever reason, the ET did want to throw a ball and then.. purposely sabotage it.. rude, they would do so on their own and not 'expand' a player's personal home and make it 'more lush'. If you want to throw a ball, go for it! Throw one! But.. I've never seen a party on this server end well, so I'd at least make the invitations private.

She sends a quick note to Nienna detailing what she's seen in case Nienna wasn't aware, as well as thanking her for not adding her to the list yet if she had known, and asking that she please keep it that way. Less than fond memories of being asked to teach people how to 'blow things up' with potions flood back as she finds a spot a safe distance from the poster to exist, grabbing a drink from the monk tavern with which to distract herself. She wonders briefly if Daniel even knows she's an alchemist, but can't recall. She drowns these thoughts in her drink and pities herself. Three ales in, she decides a hearty threat of physical violence would get her name off such a list if it had to. Besides, Daniel was a reasonable guy as far as she knew... Satisfied, she waddles home.

This... reminds me of something. Either way, it seems harmless enough, if not pointless. I've done plenty of healing rp in my day, pretty familiar with it if I say so myself. People who want their characters to live, it literally doesn't matter what you say or do, the hole in their chest is 'but a flesh wound'. And if they want their character to die, well, I wouldn't advise trying to convince them the human popsicle route provides them more interesting rp. So.. y'know, +0.5. It seems like something you could already do with lore as it is, in the whole it can only affect a person's character how they want it to. (Though people being healed tend to be open for suggestion if it fits their opinion that their character should live/die.) It seems like it doesn't need lore in that respect, especially since this sort of thing would probably only be used once in a blue moon. Side note, small thing, maybe, but the monks don't need, or even have any use for bodies, preserved or no. They grab up souls and poof up a new body for them which, if their body is dead, could happen if they were frozen and perfectly preserved or ashes. As for keeping someone alive long enough to get a cleric.. sure, but I'd encourage some death-y side effects, slight memory loss, confusion, possible tissue damage if you don't get a good enough healer. But that's just me.

Wot. Certainly seems well thought out, though I agree that it doesn't seem very lotcesque. What does it have to do with squids? Maybe I missed something, but casual chats with stars and squids seem unrelated. Edit: I did find it a little hard to read. I think your formatting derped, the words are all shifty.

I don't see people actually rping failure through a roll any more than they do already. That seems like something players will decide for themselves no matter what. A lot of people rp golden apples as being very potent, as well. While I can see the need for the lore keeping it weak for the sake of neutrality, I don't see that changing much either. Personally I've just always assumed the ammount if affects someone is genetic, since it's so wildly up to the player. Though I suppose you want comments on the recipe. :P If the actual lore says it's created through alchemy, then leaving it a cooking pot recipe is a little silly. I just imagine skilled alchemists tossing ingredients at a chef. How would a chef know what to do with them? It'd have to be a master chef, apparently, but even then If it's alchemy, it should, well, be alchemy. Just my two cents. ^^

My main concern would be the way I see shades RP. They're not particularly open about what they are, let alone how they work, so them implanting a mini-shade and risking a greater understanding from a random guy (and obligatory argument of meta) without actually making them a shade just doesn't seem like something they'd do. Let alone the house-haunting, for similar reasons. It's interesting, though. If you'd actually use it idc yolo go for it
