      Use paint.net or photoshop, pxlr also works. Gimp too.

      Go for something easy, you don't want it to look bad.

      Paintool SAI is a great and simplistic program.

      Here are a few references I like to use:

      Find some brushes and mess around. Figure out what you can improve in and improve it. Etc!!!!

      Blame the South Plains area. The whole half of the map is literally a single region run by one guy that isn't even staff, just a random player.
