Am I the only healer who uses the traditional, gory methods before resorting to the special (IE, druidic/alchemical/clerical) methods of healing? It makes matters much more fun for everyone involved, I find.
My character is kind of brutal when helping people with arrow wounds. He pulls the arrow, covers the wound with bandages and medicine, before telling them to go find a healer cuz their muscles just got torn.
