Nope. They ask you what its for and leave you be. I would be surprised if they dont check in on you once in a while though. 

As a previous ET builder, as well as requesting /lc for mild things prior to the purge and post-purge; I can confirm that there was literally next to no supervision.
Half the time, I never even had a GM or anyone /tp to me to actually see if I'm in a designated building zone. The only GM I recall (recently) following that, was Leric. However, for the latter, it can also be argued I was fairly trusted, so I cannot vouch for every time. Although the former was still.. I don't know; a bit concerning.
