At the commotion of the fight, J. Fitzpeter peeked his head out a window of Café Milano. He was greatly surprised by the nearby face of a fleeing enemy, prompting him to spit a torrent of hot coffee from his mouth! The accidental attack slowed the raider enough for Joe ( @EddyTheBrave ) to slice his hamstring with a bloodstained saber, felling the foe for good.

J. Fitzpeter suddenly regrets applying for an army commission. As he marches forward into a world of death, he cannot help but think of the deceased Robert with a cool respect - the dead like him had given it all for their beliefs. Could John maintain courage to risk his life for his own while such sweet things waited for him? With a deep breath, he finds assurance in the fact he will be marginally safer as an artillerist.

”Yeah, me too,“ says J. Fitzpeter. ”Did I mention that I‘m an economist?“

After completing his latest mission, and taking a well deserved coffee break at Café Milano in Providence, J. Fitzpeter arrives at the bastion for his artillery officer commission. "... in addition to economics, yes, I am also educated in mathematics, physics..."

J. Fitzpeter comes across this missive in a pile of intercepted letters while enjoying a tasteful cup of coffee at Café Milano in Providence. "A prison... an execution room... a ritual site... this should do wonders for my portfolio!" He exclaims to his mildly surprised waiter, soon mentioning to him, "I'm an economist, by the way."

Economist J. Fitzpeter wonders how he or anyone is reading any of this, as there is no detail of publication, distribution, etcetera.

“Wonderful poetry, but I‘m more of an economist myself,“ mentions J. Fitzpeter to Charles ‘Chuck‘ Galbraith at Café Milano.

"I'm not like other Orenians," claims J. Fitzpeter. "I'm an economist. Meet me... at Café Milano..."

J. Fitzpeter laments upon seeing Ophelia share her crazed affections with General d'Arkent.

Economist J. Fitzpeter kicks back and relaxes at the Emperor's supper after helping to facilitate another brilliant victory. "A shame we didn't manage to capture their leader - though we wouldn't have the time to eat if we'd done that, ha!" He says, cramming delicacies into his mouth.

J. Fitzpeter approaches Ophelia outside Café Milano. “I have a thing for insane women. I‘m an economist if it matters, by the way.“

“This Mr. Chuck Galbraith is a man of remarkable legal literacy. I have a promising outlook for the future of our country‘s government.“ Comments J. Fitzpeter to his acquaintance, John Ivory, while having pasta at Café Milano. @Hunwald

"Fashion among all classes of the civilized world is advancing and refining in this period of relative stability. It is a good sign." Remarks J. Fitzpeter upon reading a publication in Providence.

"The Haeseni are mocked by their pagan allies at every turn - who is truly the dependent in this relationship?" Observes anthropologist and economist J. Fitzpeter. "In such a state, it would seem the nordling fixation on cuckoldry has rubbed off on the Haeseni king."

The matters of who did it, when it happened, and the plugin having problems do not change the reality of the situation. One nation has a free internal fast travel to a dependent settlement connected by land. Others do not, and may not in the future. Will that change? I hope so, as we have precedent as recent as the map art implementation. I think a more fair solution there would have been to offer every nation on the server map art of their choosing, but things are easier said than done. Addendum: The best solution here would be to offer each nation a free internal FT. When I bring up the point of possible removal, I'm just being a realist, not a hater.

When custom map art was introduced as a publicly purchasable feature, all existing map art was removed out of fairness so that equal costs & opportunities were afforded to the server's players. Now that fast travels were introduced, will existing nation-internal fast travels be handled in a similarly fair way?

No one mentioned tiles. It‘s easy to see no issue as someone benefitting from inequality, though.

Read it again? I‘m bringing up the point that certain nations connected by land to their vassals have a free fast travel now while others will have to pay in the future.

And what about the existing faraway vassal settlements which lack the fair courtesy of a free internal fast travel? They are disadvantaged in this case (excluding Haelunor, which is literally unreachable by walking) as the map develops and other nations enjoy their free connections to their own settlements. Places like Haense and Elvenesse are growing expansive without a good method of MC travel to connect them - they deserve a free internal fast travel as well.

Looking forward to that courtesy being extended to every nation. I would hate to see you favour your own nation, as bias is entirely alien to human nature.

Norland currently has a fast travel route (ferry) from their capital to a vassal settlement (capital_norland to norland_elysium). Much like with Oren's custom map art being removed upon publicization of the feature, it's only fair to remove the ferry or provide free internal fast travels to all other nations so to uphold the rules equally for all players. @Hiebe
