Character’s name: Aluleith Thorenal Character’s gender: Female Character’s race: Wood Elf Character’s age: 439 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Born when the breezes rolled through Malinor, Aluleith was the daughter of a medium class Wood Elven family that lived in the city of Normandor. A merchants family that sold trinkets, odds and ends, that sort of thing. Aluleith herself was destined to become a shopkeeper herself, their store had been in the family for many generations. And she was content with this, selling various things for many years. But everything changed when the natural disasters attacked. Only the boats, master of all the seas could save them. But when the world needed them most.. they were there. Everything the descendant races had once built up was taken from them once again. The Thorenals had to build everything back up, and so they did. Elysium and Kalos proved to be fruitful for the family, causing them to quickly gain their wealth back. Then Anthos came, and with it the city of Luminaire, a city of beauty and greatness. Things were once again looking bright for the family. But with brightness comes darkness. The Black Scourge under the rule of Setherien raided the city of Luminaire many a time, causing death and decay whenever they swept by. On one of these occasions, the Elves of Malinor were forced to leave their homes and flee to the Equinox Grove. Many died, including Aluleith’s mother, leaving her with her father. Yet again, they had lost everything. This time, rebuilding their lives was not as easy as before. The probability of an attack by the Scourge left everyone on their guard, leaving them with no time to do anything else. Despite this, attacks on the Grove were quite uncommon. Then the counterattacks on the North began, eventually leading to the death of Setherien. The glaciers of the north started to melt, sending a flood to the way of the mortal races. The remaining two Thorendals tried desperately to get on one of the few scarce boats that were docked, but it was too late for one of them. Her father was swept away with the waters only to drown. She tried to reach for his hand, but to no avail. Her last remaining family member had just died. Her heart crushed, but she had to trek on to the boat; she barely made it. The mortal races took off to the Fringe. Here is where Aluleith’s passive life started; she secluded herself from society and became a simple farmer, living off the land. This continued all the way until our current realm, Vailor. Here she emerged, ready to do whatever is needed to bring her family’s name back up to its former standards. Personality Traits: Brittle but caring. Ambitions: She seeks to become a merchant, just like her family before her. Strengths/Talents: Quick, nimble and a decent negotiator. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Frail as can be, nor does she like to speak about her family. Character’s name: Kaynard Margrave - The Puppeteer Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 50 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Kaynard was born at the end of Asulon. He wasn’t born in a normal family like any other child, he was born in a tribe of Humans, out in the wilderness. This tribe, of which the name has long since been forgotten, even by Kaynard, was cut off from most civilized cities for they did not want to be discovered. Their xenophobic society had survived for many years, their thought process was that they had no need for outsiders. Yet when someone’d happen to stumble across his tribe they would very quickly regret their decision. The tribe practised a dark magic known to them as Soul Puppetry; by manipulating one’s life force, they were able to lay curses on someone with a puppet as the medium. And these curses, well, you wouldn’t want to get one. The tribe taught ideals to their children in a similar fashion to the High Elves; they were better than everyone else. Kaynard, being one of those children, took over these ideals. He also took great interest in the tribe’s dark and foul magic; his studies have progressed throughout many years But then, disaster struck. The storms in Asulon arrived, tearing apart the landscape. The people of Asulon were leaving, but not Kaynard’s tribe. As stubborn as they were, they believed that if they would stay, their gods would reward them for it. Kaynard himself, however, did not believe this. He found them fools for staying, they would certainly die. So he took off, clad himself in normal clothing and went with the ships to Elysium, then to Kalos, then to Anthos. Anthos did not prove to be as fruitful as he had hoped, and neither did Athera; studying consumed most of his time. The question is - What will Vailor bring? Personality Traits: Ruthless, yet oddly cheerful. Ambitions: Despite the environment he was raised in, he seeks to socialize with others. But for what reason? To spread his knowledge, make friends or something more sinister? Strengths/Talents: His only strength lies in his ability of Soul Puppetry; a single droplet of blood and the victim will be under his mercy. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Kaynard is physically weak and frail, both due to his semi-older age and the constant use of the foul magic. In a fight, he would not be able to last long at all. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): He is approximately 5’10” tall with a mere 120 lbs added to him. He has many dolls clasped underneath his concealed robe, effigies if you will. Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin (If you need help, see our screenshot guide here): One more thing, my character’s supposed to have Soul Puppetry but I’ve left for a while so he’s currently not in the official user list. Will fix that if/when this app gets accepted.
