There is actually no straightforward lore for the life expectancy of different LoTC races. Humans used to live for a few hundred years before a wave of people decided having more realistic life expectancies was cool, and that became the new normal.
While a plugin that forces people to do realistic character progression would be really cool, it also isn't possible. Instead of arbitrarily punishing players, wouldn't it be better to encourage people to roleplay?
Not gonn'a lie, the fact that I can't age my character backwards or change my race or gender hasn't improved my roleplay at all. It's just put arbitrary restrictions on the stories I can tell and what I can role-play, and I think that's really ******* dumb.

nah originally humans only lived ordinary human lifespans. dying at 80ish. that was the whole point of the curse. if humans lived for hundreds of years then it'd be pointless, they'd be living just as long as dwarves. even adunians, who were meant to have longer lifespans as part-Elves(this was because curse lore was reworked to give both curses), only lived to like 125 when they were originally made.
never knew of humans living a few hundred years in lore, but if that was the case it was p dumb and short lived.
that said mandatory aging and forced PKs is incredibly dumb when we have nexus. im not gonna PK my character card if i'm after grinding it.

I mean idk, I just remember boeindl's character living for a few centuries. He could have been a filthy crypto-dwarf however...
I guess the main point I was trying to make is that devs making arbitrary restrictions isn't making RP any better. It's just kind of annoying and an obstacle to good storytelling. Perhaps if there was an elf pregnancy plugin I would be immersed. But really autoaging is kind of obnoxious.
