    will never understand people who read and write LoTC lore (VaatiVidya for people who stack even less paper). this information is straight up not valuable; most of it empty verbiage with no payoff, not even the expectation that some piece of it might be useful for traversing the in-game world. its only application seems to be limiting the scope of what other players can create.

      My favorite thing was writing a troll paladin 'lore' submission to motivate other people to actually write one since no one liked the state of the magic. Got a lot of ST making fun of me for just basically rewording the lore we had but it did the trick.

      I like to think of it as contributing to the world. Limitations will always exist, but that’s a necessary cost. So many players and ideas are presented on this server, and if they all ran rampant without any coherence or limitation, I would say we’d arguably be worse off. That’s not to say we should be super limiting either.
