Imagine the community votes in majority for 1.8 again just for staff to continue with Surge 1.9 PVP anyway similar to the start of Almaris.

It gets a bit tiring watching Staff flip-flop on whether the server should be 1.8/1.9 PVP which commonly seems to occur mid-war oddly enough.

is there any active community on this server that doesn't use discord (and can I join)

talking with a friend about LOTC maps recently. I think Almaris or whatever this current one is called is probably the worst designed map ever.

@itdontmatta Seems like your priorities are in the wrong order - James getting perma-banned on your whim for speaking out against blatant meta instead of said meta being investigated? Sure hope his situation is resolved and his claim given due attention once you cool off a bit

funny take but the division of conflict RPer v slice of lifer is more of a representation of people who see this place solely as a game to win against those who see this as a place to create a narrative

This entire OOC Anti-Oren obsession that has existed since Alty became Emperor in late 2019 is turning this server in a completely toxic place. How many times any of you have witnessed Anti-Oren messages in OOC channels within the server? Because it has been constant during all this time. What has the Admin Team done to address this issue? Nothing, and now we see the consequences of this negligence: more toxicity and more OOC, which is a very bad impression for a new player (see JoshBright's post).

Also, and I hope that what happened recently made us all learn this, which is that I think that it has been completely proven that forcing your character to act in a certain manner for the mere fact that it benefits you more oocly (e.g.: to assume the leadership of a nation) is something that is completely bad for the community as it just generates more OOC and toxicity.

What do you know, there's an uncapped raid and LOTC seems fun again. Let's raise the raid caps please, we as a community are past 2017 xxx
