  1. so, recently we had a situation where one of the four descendant races were totally conquered. does this mean oren can wipe them out, or that they can just be vassalized? as i recall you aren't suppose to be able to totally wipe out any one of the four descendant nations. HOWEVER how does this work for the elves? if you conquered the welves or helves, which one could you wipe out and which one would you have to vassalize?
  2. As it stands, Tythus is living in a cardboard box in the alley of a Burgerking, subsisting on the leftover Whoppers from Whopper Wednesday, having all his money transferred to keeping the server afloat. What are our long-term plans to get people to give us money to keep the server up? Can we make spawn less ****? Like just convert it into the CT from Vailor? Like ****, everyone liked Vailor spawn better. It was compact, it was pretty, every boat was in the same goddamn place. Can we get a ruling on use of free narrative materials for writing lore? So, if someone out there produces free D&D assets (e.g. a random encounter generator) are we allowed to use those assets? Can we take them verbatim (if those people are offering them verbatim anyway)? Druids are dying, for some reason. At least, this is what everyone tells me. I can't inject terrorism to stimulate discussion, I'm too busy. Give them something to do. Restore PVP buffs to all races they were removed from. Can we grant enormous PVP buffs to evil races? As it stands, we can completely ignore the 'threat' of any evil entity, because we can just default to PVP and then just one of our guys can take down that evil dreadnought monster. Like, seriously, how about we just give the evil hierarchy buffs according to how powerful they are? Evil should be feared. As it stands, I could piss on a demon and no one could do ****. Humanize lore characters. As it stands, aenguls/daemons whatever are just foreboding presences instead of people. Why can't we have Cooking with the Divine??
  3. This arguement is completely asinine. By this logic, no land could ever have new historical events added to it post-creation, because ruins of that history weren't already there. If you're going to keep up the deny-everything attitude of ye olde LMs, at least provide actual reasons for it. that said I preferred Dragur as the deity here
  4. Look guys, says Ti'gobser, if you want to speak like ye ol'timey person, you should read up on it beforehand -- else you'll make strange mistakes.
  5. why do you never log on or go on discord oh my goood

  6. Why don't we just force arbitrary movement conditions on owners of the books? every x weeks, you must make a pilgrimage to y, with the book carried in a reliquary
  7. I agree. We should really just make the ancient history lore one of many creation myths. Mathic cycle can be one too.
  8. NO. Except, perhaps, limited cannon use as an alternative trebuchet for technologically advanced races (dwarves).
  9. Do you think it would be wise to offer Mina compensation for wiki work, with the amount awarded based on a rating out of ten given by wiki team members?
  10. No one would stud armor with a metal which melts upon resisting the thing the armor is supposed to defend against. It'd be like wearing a suit of gunpowder to slay pyromancers. You need to increase the effectiveness of thanhium studs.
  11. IGN: Aesopian Skillset to bring to the hunt: I literally kill dragons and turn their hide into armor. I'm probably responsible for more dead dragons than any other player. Reason for wanting to attend: Dragonscales. Will you be available at the time of the event: Probably.
  12. this is hilariously wrong, wow, this actually made me laugh
  13. No, this is idiotic. Even with intense slave labor, palaces can take dozens of years to complete. Four years is absolutely ******* impossible, unless these palaces are as large as a two-story middle-class home (which I doubt they are). I would STRONGLY recommend increasing this to fifty or seventy years. You should temper your expectations now, though. The LMs probably have their own lore written for Axios already, and will be butthurt that yours is so well-liked. They will likely deny this and state simply that it 'conflicts with hidden lore', and refuse to give you any tips as to how you can clean it up. Plus, lowering your expectations prevents you from feeling sad.
  14. Forest dwarves are pretty neat, though I'd also like to see reaver dwarves on the seas.
  15. ~| The Filthy Tongue |~ We will not kill the World. We may pervert it -- our hands may change it, and our brains defile it, but we will never kill it, because we need it. We are wise enough to know that a tree does not live without the rain to quench its thirst, and neither will we survive without the World to placate our needs. Even if the day comes when the Aspects find us so corrupted that they see us unfit to continue our trial, the World will not die. It will not perish by the efforts of bears, trees, and wolves. It will perish because we write something down, and it is noticed. Creation is designed with balance in mind. We stray too far from the correct path, and it is not just deities we should fear. In the tongue of the elves, they are called talia'rescaele, or simply, tali'caele. Men call them primordials. When Vailor was on the verge of destruction, I asked you to plant seeds in the soil below city walls, to hide weeds in the crevices of stonemasonry and in the rafters of churches. Now Vailor is a corpse, the forests and cities both afflicted with rot and the weave of fungus. The forests will die and be reborn as fungal wilds, but the cities, unnatural as they are, will become ruins. If there is one thing I can commend Orgon with, it is at the very least he used a biological weapon. When the time comes that we return to that broken land, we will take those hidden seeds and sprouts, and cleanse the continent. We will turn plague to ash and allow the realm to be born anew. In the eyes of the Aspects, such an act is beauty. In a primordial's eyes, it is nothing. They do not give us the slightest attention, because we are so small and insignificant on a cosmological scale. Provided we act in a way which is in accordance with the natural world, we are not worth their eyes, as it should be. They are grand, and it is their greatest weakness. They cannot touch the world as we can touch it. The ant has mastery of every grain of stone and mote of dirt he treads upon, but the man cannot even perceive those things, let alone manipulate them. The same is true of primordials. If they are interested in us, they cannot simply enter our world as an Aengul might with an avatar. They must convert a world's atmosphere to hydrosulfuric acid and measure the aggregate suffering it causes, or centrifuge a realm and find its biomass. Their tools are imprecise, broad, and more powerful than we can possibly imagine. Now, I will place another task in your hands. Any of you, or all of you. Break something with your bear hands. It can be living or built. Start with this message. Then, snap in half the crossbars of a fence. Kick in the windows of a villa, or shatter the fine pottery in a duke's dining room. Smash in the legs of a count, and then pluck out his eyeballs. Without tools or weapons, our hate is manifested pure. Ferocity and brutality nature has aplenty, and to channel it is to embrace our inner hearts. Show that you are dedicated to the cause of restoring balance to this world. I ask this of you. ~ March Ash You find a message on a sheaf of bark, scrawled in animal blood. Previous Issue Dreamer Next Issue Join the author.
  16. Please use polls in these topics. A bunch of useless discussion will be carried out, but we will have no idea how the community overall feels on this. Just throw up some random things, like rating the current system out of 10, etc.
  17. Could you show me where you got that newspaper template?

  18. I need my items back before you go!!
  19. Wait, you still have my ******* items!!!
  20. ~| The Filthy Tongue |~ The scattering of a people from their homeland is called a diaspora. It is our way of life, and it is our affliction. We travel from continent to continent. We build new cities, and pray that this time we will have stable, happy lives. Then, we dash our own hopes against the rocks. We bring with us the very plague that will, in the end, cast us out. We corrupt lands so thoroughly that they are no longer fit to see us embrace nature, let alone return to it. By Cerridwen's mercy, we are released onto the flow to come across a new home, thereupon we might find our way. We like to ignore the truth that we will one day run out of lands to journey to, and run out of mercy. It does not occur to us that we could fail the grand task put upon us by our creator. I will speak only briefly about your task prior to the last -- you may think me foolish for asking you to plant the seeds of our dominion in the cities of a dying land, but know this: the city may be a powerful foe, but we can turn this power against it, and against all the taint in the world, if we are patient. I will speak to you more on this in my next missive. For now, there are other things to discuss. Many of you have come to me, and asked me who I am. Though your curiosity is welcome, you should know that I am only a tool which exists to show others the path to the Good life. I am no high druid, I am not pure. I am ultimately a pragmatist. Nature is without symbolism and is bare for all to see. I use language and deceit. I admire those who give up all the abstract concepts of the mind and become as our creator willed us to be, but I cannot take this path. I am not the example you should look to. I am just a guide along the path. Those, at the end of it, are the ones you should aspire to be. My work does not demand the growth of my self, it demands that I aid others to grow. I can never detach myself, because my sole duty is to the World. I must sacrifice my own spiritual needs, and do whatever I can to restore the balance. For now, I will not place another task in your hands. I give you freedom to choose to do as you wish. This land is nubile and filled with life. Explore it. Enjoy it. Rather than reflect on our past, embrace the world that could be our paradise. These isles are pure. Come to love them. That love in your heart will raise you to action when this place is threatened. Show that you are dedicated to the cause of restoring balance to this world. I ask this of you. ~ March Ash You find a message on a sheaf of bark, scrawled in animal blood.
