  1. ((Click 'Leave the waking dream behind', then click the prompts as they appear.))
  2. Remove this damn line: One could consider their initial training to be similar to opening a small hole to allow light to pass, and then the attunement process as using the small hole to bore a larger one, creating a ray of light-a connection. It's incorrect. Dedicancy is akin to marking a spot on someone's head, attunement is drilling.
  3. Honestly, if we do a new race come 5.0, it should be a contest, rather than just a random submission getting in.
  4. TeaLulu, you do realize druidism is a guild-locked magic, and it's possible to simply 'remove' the magic from a player if they leave the guild? Their power is already consolidated. Honestly, I do feel druidism could use some trimming up, like removing all aspects of it which are instantaneous (which maybe I will talk about some other time, you know, stuff like removing the ability to summon a tree from the earth to pound someone's ass), but I don't really see the point in 'limiting' any magic, druidism/shamanism/whatever. Magic should be broad. Shamans should be able to speak to wolves if they speak to a spirit of wolves. They should be able to heal blight by speaking to a spirit of reforestation. Druids should be able to manipulate any natural phenomenon. Their capabilities, and the nuance of how they perform their acts, should vary, but I don't see the issue with having the same outcome for both of them. If you impale someone with an ice lance, or zap them with a lightning bolt, you still end up with a corpse, right?
  5. ~| Khar Nanyo |~ Leave the waking dream behind. We live only by the mercy of the World. It is a mercy that will soon run out. Join the author.
  6. OOCly, this is a really neat bit of roleplay.
  7. This will be denied on the basis that LotC isn't accepting new races. You should get an ET to submit it, and have them claim that they will do events involving it. They don't actually have to do the events, just submit the lore, so it's fine.
  8. You do realize we have the teachings of the wandering wizard, right? Like, definitive teachings which say the four brothers are all the same species, just 'cursed' differently? I mean, the elves, orcs, humans, etc, can all interbreed and create viable offspring, and it's undoubtedly true that at some point in their distant ancestry every person claims at least partial descendence from all of these races, even if it is extremely dilute. Your argument is idiotic, says a halfling.
  9. Druids should have control over all things natural. I don't give a rat's anus about this whole 'creature/plant' association, it's moronic. The natural includes mountains, rain, the orbits of celestial bodies, whatever. Shamans should have control over all things spiritual. Since there are spirits to represent everything, shamans should have power over all things through spirits as their proxies. Magic is not meant to be restrictive, if it is, then it is just a profession - utterly meaningless, devoid of roleplay. It is suppose to be a creative endeavor. Sure, we should prevent people from powergaming, but provided there is reason to some shaman being able to repair a machine (by invoking a technology spirit) or a druid calling a storm (because it is natural and thus under the domain of the aspects), I see no issue with any of these things. That said, I'd prefer it being written into the magic itself, rather than as adjuncts. These stones will probably just be sequestered away, never to be used, in all honesty.
  10. Wait, so, people prayed to and kept icons of just some random guy hanging around, and it's only now that he's being declared a Saint? Wouldn't those miracles need to be attributed to that guy himself performing them?
  11. Ti'gobser is pleased with this change, and considers establishing a group to hunt down and skin anusface Kha while leaving the regular Kha alone.
  12. Wait, then who will live in a desert environment? The Caliphate?
  13. Yeah sure I got some, says Ti'gobser, but you gotta tell me what you're using them for in a private message.
  14. I support harassment of players through repeated killing. Otherwise, you can do whatever you want and get away with it, because we have to assume people die when they die.
  15. I tell people this will happen, and no one believes me!
  16. The Orcs were never under Orenian dominion to be begin with, as far as I know, says a halfling.
  17. I've never received a list of reasons or a message containing reasons for lore denial.
  18. 'no explosives, siege weaponry, or acid in the eternal library' teh fak??
  19. Why is this Kha writing in his accent, asks Ti'gobser out loud.
  20. ((When you declare an official rebellion, the GMs oversee the region, and if anyone abuses their ownership to remove the rebels from the region, the rebels are returned to the region, AFAIK.))
  21. Man, these people are so lucky, I wish I got actual feedback from LMs instead of a flat deny/accept without any lists of potential improvements cough cough this arguing is ridiculous cough cough.
  22. This will never be solved. You fail to realize the devs set their own priorities -- and bugs which make people less wealthy barely even register on that list. This would need to be a dupe bug or something similar for it to be worth consideration.
  23. oof salvo slinging fire Don't piss off Telanir, we need coders far more than we need admins.
