Pembroke-Shire House Suffolk Pembroke Castle, Pembroke City, is the seat of house Suffolk. The House was founded by Athelstan Suffolk in Vailor. Edward, current head of and Pater Familias of the Family upon arriving to Atlas started serving under the Judaic Principality of Hanseti and established Pembroke-shire to further serve the cause. Following Edward Suffolk’s ennoblement as a Baron of Renatus-Marna, the House gained noble status Location Pembroke City is located across the hill, south from Keter (marked as Judah in most maps), the seat of the Judaic Principality of Hanseti and directly north of Daeland and Marna. Thou may travel tither via the road to the Dominion. Government The government of Pembroke is lacking in a few of the council members, such as a proper steward, sheriff, and an ambassador.Loyal residents with the skill to manage a position, will eventually be offered some form of responsibility. We hope to fill these positions quickly, the more intellectuals on the council the faster the city may progress. Establishment The ownership of the Lands of Pembroke-shire was ratified by the Prince of the Judaic Principality of Hanseti, Darius DeNurem in year 1661 and on the same year Pembroke Castle was built by House Suffolk. The Prince bestowed the title of Judaic Baron (Lentmeister) to Edward Suffolk in 1661 and allowed the usage of the title Judaic Earl in 1662 due to the development and success of Pembroke-shire. In year 1662 due to a great increase in the number of immigrants Pembroke Castle was decided to be expanded as Pembroke Town. Whence Edward Suffolk was ennobled by the Crown of Renatus-Marna on 21st of Grand Harvest, 1663 as Baron, Pembroke-shire officially became the Barony of Pembroke and Pembroke Town was decided to be expanded as Pembroke City. Residents & Culture The culture of Pembroke-shire is Suffonian ((Pre-Union Medieval English Culture Based on Roman Roots, a detailed post will later be published)), a branch of Heartland culture. The population of Pembroke City is relatively small, since the settlement just recently acquired its city status and enlarging on a daily basis. Even if the core culture is Suffonian, people from all cultures is welcome in the city. Citizenship Pembroke City accepts newcomers with open arms, one who wishes to settle must get in touch with the Civil Servants (Municipal Staff or Privy Council Advisors) of the city in the City Hall. Until such a time the City is completed all citizens are provided with rented housing free of charge. Citizens may also get in touch with the Civil Servants concerning renting shops or market stalls. All citizens who are not able to provide for themselves will be provided with the basic necessities by the House of Suffolk. Guilds & Work Pembroke City especially welcomes merchants and traders and Pembroke Merchants Guild, under the Master of Commerce, actively regulates the market to ensure the continuity and surety of commerce. All are encouraged to engage in trade or establish centers for their specific crafts. The Suffolk Army also recruits young, vigilant and loyal citizens to its ever expanding ranks to ensure the protection of peace within Pembroke-shire. These recruits enjoys rent free occupation and a tax free life. Lawful exercisers of magic, scientists and artists will also be provided with opportunities in accordance with their craft and skills. Focus and Future Plans The current focus of Suffonian Government is completing the construction of Pembroke City as soon as possible. Following the construction in addition to the current commercial guilds and companies active in the City, educational and artistic crafts will be sponsored and a community of commerce and art will be established. In addition to peaceful crafts and construction the Military Command of Pembroke also actively seeks to fully men the three Regiments serving as the Suffolk Army. Architecture Suffonian architecture has it's own unique feel, it is generally very patriotic, comprising of large scale buildings, constructed of intricate designs of Dark colored wood and bricks of stone. Pembroke Town Square Pembroke's Suffolk Abbey. Crimson Fields,

[Completed][Completed] Yay or Nay to Ascended Magic?
Aladeen replied to Aladeen's topic in Completed Debate
I just enjoy the work that was put into their lore, Although i'm an outsider looking into the potentially abusive mechanics. -
[Completed][Completed] Yay or Nay to Ascended Magic?
Aladeen replied to Aladeen's topic in Completed Debate
I think instead of removing ascended magics we should just be reporting these power gaming players, there's already been talk of increasing the penalty on repeated Power Gaming and Meta Gaming. I just don't wanna see this magic go because a few bad players ruined it. I wouldn't want to see any mechanic go for a few people abusing it -
[Completed][Completed] Yay or Nay to Ascended Magic?
Aladeen replied to Aladeen's topic in Completed Debate
Do you have an opinion on what other players have been saying? Because i've never encountered specifically toxic ascended players. but alot of people seem to have. -
[Completed][Completed] Yay or Nay to Ascended Magic?
Aladeen replied to Aladeen's topic in Completed Debate
I don't think that's really fair, we should be removing the mechanics they're using and try to add more, fair replacements. And we should have some penalty for players if they're being so ridiculously toxic in this fashion anyway, and that should go for anyone and any magic. Are you an ascended player? or is that just sarcasm? -
[Completed][Completed] Yay or Nay to Ascended Magic?
Aladeen replied to Aladeen's topic in Completed Debate
I think in the right hands it could be a very good role play tool. But ill read that post, it seems that everyone agrees the community is extremely toxic with the magic That's what I think should happen personally, id like to see it removed and rewritten in a different fashion, perhaps in a way that disables players from abusing it an acting how they've been with their power -
[Completed][Completed] Yay or Nay to Ascended Magic?
Aladeen replied to Aladeen's topic in Completed Debate
Interesting, I'd like to see ascended at least get another chance at a proper change/nerf before it just gets shelved, Although i respect the decision. Especially if things like that became the norm, I went and put a question about i in the community meeting I've only talked to Z3mos in the ascended community, He's been extremely polite to everyone i've seen him interact with. How many ascended players have you seen be toxic? I wont ask for names of course Could you elaborate on what you don't like? Could you elaborate on what you don't like? -

Ive heard from a GM that the shelving of ascension magic is around the corner, id like to hear some thoughts from people on the mechanics of the magic. As I never really for a chance to use it myself, I'm told it had many holes and problems as well. Anyone care to comment? I'd prefer mature thought out responses, rather than "******* kill this magic i don't like it, I want a discussion here.
