  1. "How you feeling now you drunken zhenya?! You sobered up or you up for more drowning?!" Sieger-Of- Camp William Worix, knocking some sense into a drunken footman, Tuvya Berhal. Whilst night was at its darkest, Nikolai entered St. Karlsburg. He needed transport, a northern steed would do, a pack horse too for carrying his items, nobody will miss them as nobody would find them. But. There was one more thing he would need. He carefully made his way through the winter frosted streets, he knew where to find what he was looking for. By the graveside of his father the helmet sat, the snow covered it as did it cover the grave. That was the last thing he needed or he thought it was. "No, they need something for me to be remembered by. The helmet remained and along with it something else. He left a few parting gifts. Letters to his friends and who he saw as family. @Eddywilson2/Othaman "My King Petyr. My family have been forever loyal to you since your family's return to your rightful title. We fought with you from the Northern Coalition to this day. However, I feel I have been unable to serve you as of late. I struck my own comrades and broke my oaths. I was forced to stand down because I didn't wish to drop your banner. I feel I've betrayed the trust that you gave to my father, my brother and me. Maybe one day when time wills it I will return, hopefully things will be amended by then. Until then I say to you goodbye my King, it was an honour serving you." Nikolai Worix. @NJBB "My friend and Lord Sergei. Your father gave mine a sense of duty to uphold, one that my father passed down to me. I'm forever grateful and in debt to your House, my family fought beside yours for many years, from Norland's rebellion to this day. It was with your family's guidance and your own reassurance I found a place in the north and then after a while I began living life to its fullest on my own. I thank you and I wish you good fortune for what's to come, for House Kovachev to prosper and to strengthen in the north." Nikolai Worix. @RuthernPapi "My friend and Lord Maric. You were ever generous to me. You offered me things I never could have dreamed. Gave me things that I was ever thankful for and even after my fall offered me sanctuary. I refused many of these I know, but you remain a good friend to me and that is why I send my regards. I hope to hear of Ruthern's prosperity and strength as a house of the north." Nikolai Worix. @Ark "My friend, Ser Rickard Barrow. After my fathers death you showed me what way I should live my life, what examples I should follow. You taught me many things that I will not forget. You were a loyal friend to my father and a honourable friend to my family. I know you'll be disappointed with my decision but do know that my loyalty is forever with you, House Barbanov and the north." Nikolai Worix. With that, the Crow was gone, riding off into the night, the freshly laid snow covering his tracks. Sure he was discharged but he still wore a faded Golden Crow on his chest, he may have left everything behind but he did not abandon his loyalty. Nikolai was gone and there was no certainty of him coming back. (Well, that's it. I've played this character for a good while, developed him the best I could and this sadly is where his story ends. Just don't expect to see the last of that helmet.)
  2. Nikolai would nod in respect at the Rex's last stand despite the overwhelming and terrifying odds.
  3. The battle was won, the war was over, no longer would Oren be challenged by the War Uzg again. Thoughts raced through Nikolai's head "What was the point of this, they were already beaten, their defence barely lasted..." it was then he looked to see a battered and wounded orc, fatally wounded, obviously doomed to die. "I didn't fight to beat a dead dog..." he'd sigh, looking the orc over, there was very few of them left, barely any of them rallied to defend themselves. The northerner raised his axe, with one quick slash he brought it down on the head of the son of Krug, saving him from a painful death He stared blindly as the Orenian colours flapped in the wind, he didn't wear legion colours, he didn't stand for beating dead dogs. As he saw his fellow countrymen loot the ruined city, he turned away, heaving his barbovic shield over his back, clipping his war-axe to his belt. Whilst the others looted, scavenged and cheered, gaining pleasure and purpose, feeding their great nation with delight and valor. Nikolai walked away with no sense of purpose. He began his voyage back northwards, back to the quiet Kingdom of frost and snow, where he could finally, after many ages, rethink his thoughts.
  4. Nikolai would frown at the missive "Genocide in the name of faith, ey?" he'd tear up the missive, throwing the scraps to the ground with disregard "That's enough preaching for one day..."
  5. "Many of my family were decedents of hansetians, this house has my respect." Nikolai would nod
  6. "Da, they do decent service for a heartland tavern." Nikolai would nod
  7. Nikolai nods with approval at the list, smiling to himself and to the further advancements of this barony and house.
  8. "More ivory for my collection." a northerner would grin
  9. Nikolai would nod with approval "Good job."
  10. "Another trigger happy southerner, ey?" he'd chuckle, letting the Golden Crow banner fly high.
  11. Nikolai sighs as they take away his stash of orcish Ivory and arrest him for poaching "I thought we were friends Rick!!!"
  12. Nicholas would stand above Osgod's grave, with swift motion he'd unsheath his longsword, holding it by the hilt as he pierced the blade into the ground "Dravo, comrade Osgod, until we meet again..." with that, the warrior would remove his helmet, tearing off a feather and placing it into the soil. Eventually he'd turn away, stopping to chuckle for a mere moment "Say eja to my papa when you get there." he'd place the black-steel back over his head, the darkened slits hollow with sadness.
  13. Good fight people, Kakaw!

  14. Nicholas would chuckle at the note "Very well, though I doubt it will be your captive who will be in pieces!"
  15. I like this, it brings diversity to human rp bases like Oren and teaches people how to fit into their groups or cultures with the accent fitting into it. Good job at the guide.
  16. "Dancing?" he'd turn to his father Sergei, unsure about the subject
  17. Viktor would clap his hands "I hope it'll be fun!" the young boy would chant, readying to travel to the festival.
  18. Nicholas would smirk "More tusks for trophies for the north!" admiring his collection of tusks.
  19. Good fight, that was an unexpecting turnout.

  20. Viktor Barrow would gaze at the Brawm's keep in the distance of his family's own "Seems the Brawm's are settling in well!" the young boy would remark.
