I am not diagnosing you. I never claimed that you had it. I am saying that from your interactions with others and even myself in this status update thread that it seems like you could have it and I requested that you look into the diagnosis criteria to consider whether or not it may be applicable to you. If it's not, fair enough. Hopefully you learnt something from it. However, if it does apply to you, it gives you the opportunity to consider speaking with some professionals about learning more about it and helping you to live with it if you need help.

I won't even dignifiy that dossier and parasocial statement with a proper response because of how absurd it is in the context of this conversation. I'm not trolling, and I'm just trying to look out for you because mental health problems in men are often left unaddressed and is often a problem that can be solved if some level of attention is put towards it. I know it may seem unconventional and strange that I'm just typing these long paragraphs about the possibility of you having a condition and about pattern recognition, but I hope you consider what I've said.

I never stated I was a medical professional, but my advice is just as relevant and I'm sure a medical professional would give similar advice. Though, I'm unsure what you mean about professionals not giving advice over the internet. Professionals can provide advice over the telephone, over video calls, through websites etc. Advice is still advice no matter what platform it's given on. It's important not to immediately dismiss advice from people who are doing their best to help, even if it's given over the internet.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make with the second thing you said. Yeah, people can choose how they act online but they can also choose how they act in person. Regardless of where they act, it is possible to determine their personality and even how they think. Sure, it might be difficult with the anonymity that the internet provides, but it can also be incredibly easy to see through someone. Likewise, it can still be difficult to understand someone's personality in person if they keep to themselves but for other people it can be really easy to read them. In both platforms, even people who lie can eventually be caught by the indications they leave behind. It happens a fair bit on LotC when even normal players can catch predators from the server's past returning to the server on an alt.

As time passes and people grow up, they begin to change how they fundamentally view the world, their humour changes, politics, etc. It's not really surprising that the people you mention changed. Growth is possible for everyone, but we need to understand who we currently are to allow ourselves the opportunity to fully grow.

It's not parasocial at all because we're both talking to each other here. I like writing and I like putting in the time to help others which is why I'm writing as much as I am. Anyway, you can tell a lot about someone by how they present themselves and how they speak, even online with how they type and generally act. It's not a difficult skill to pick up by any means, but it can be hard to master. If you see enough of a certain behaviour within people and groups, you learn to pick up on it easier. It's just pattern recognition. I understand that you may find it difficult to show vulnerability but consider what I've said. Even if it's not applicable to you, maybe you'll learn something in the process that can help you identify traits in other people.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the main reason you overuse "Redditor" as an insult is because you're a sensitive soul who secretly looks to platforms like Reddit for guidance, but you don't wish to be affiliated with them, so you project as a defence mechanism. It's okay to admit that you're vulnerable. We see your weakness and we accept you for who you are. If you wish to lurk on Reddit and make occasional posts on throwaway accounts on relationship subreddits or r/amiugly, you're welcome to. We appreciate you, Charles the Mald. Hopefully you can soon address your insecurities and become a better person :)

On a real note, sometimes it is difficult for medical professionals to pick up on things because they are not trained to identify certain characteristics or miss it entirely because of human error. Narcissism is something that can sometimes be hard to diagnose, and it is a condition that can be derived from childhood trauma. Narcissism is not something that should be inherently villainised because it's a type of trauma like any other. There is a type of Narcissism where the person is paradoxically mixed with bouts of self-loathing combined with high ego and entitlement. After all, the ego and entitlement stems from insecurity. Nevertheless, Narcissism is a condition that affects how you interact with others around you so if you do have it, it's important to be aware of it so you can properly control it to make your life generally more enjoyable while improving your interactions with others. Going by how you've presented yourself and from my interactions with some diagnosed narcissists, it definitely seems like you could have it. I recommend you look into it and consider if you fit within the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.

@sami03 As much as I would've originally believed it to be bait coming from Charles given his reputation, there are some indicators that show that he genuinely believes what he is saying which becomes more apparent the further you read. It's just an unbridled horrible opinion, not bait.

The fasces itself is quite literally the bundle of sticks/rods, while the axe is commonly associated with the fasces, it is not an essential part of the fasces itself. It only takes a little bit of reading to learn that. Fie literally admitted herself that the concept was based off of the Roman fasces. They did not base it on a Native American quote, they did not base it on a bible verse, they did not base it on American usage. They admitted that it was based off of the Roman fasces.

You can tell people to research my early server history all you want, but you would be able to clearly see that I have purposefully distanced myself from the people who drop racial slurs around like it's nothing, some of whom did hold unconventional and sometimes dangerous beliefs. In my times as a Moderator, I've even helped to get these sorts of people banned. And it's those people that still make an effort to try to stain my reputation. I've even heard that one of them called me "the new Hitler" to people in a VC purely because I asked at one point how much one of their builds costed to be pasted in in OOC chat which inadvertently reminded World Team to get on their ass since they didn't pay for their paste. Though, I'm sure you know who I am talking about already. If you're going to bring up player histories, it could just as easily be said to research into the questionable behaviours of the people associated with Acre leadership (with the same sort of behaviour continuing to this very day). It's repulsive. Besides, it really shows that you are looking at this incident as a conflict when you're attempting to discredit me and not the argument itself by using personal attacks and using words like "allies" when it is really just people having concerns and/or seeing the situation for what it is.

Feigning ignorance does not really work here at all. You state the intent was to base it off the Roman fasces, but to learn of its origin and know what it as a symbol represents means that there would have been plentiful awareness of its usage in Italian fascism - it's one of the first things that you would learn when using services like Wikipedia. Yet despite this awareness, a whole forum post was drafted, likely proof-read, and then posted. There can be no claim of ignorance here.
