Warning Appeal System Announcement [UPDATED: System on hold] The soon to be out-dated appeal system used for warning points was to address them in messages, whether it be via forum messages or Skype PMs. Once points were distributed, you were expected to wait a month before appealing them to the Forum Moderator that issued them to you. The Forum Moderation team has deemed this to be an ineffective and rather unorganized system that enables the ability to have repeated and excused misconduct. Thus we created a new system to remedy this. Please read thoroughly on the details of this fresh approach to appealing warnings, as they are vastly different to what you are currently used to. The first thing to bear in mind is that with the implementation of this new system, there will also be a new sub-forum created. This sub-forum will be the place where you post your appeals, however they will only be seen by Forum Moderators, Forum Team Managers, the Forum Team Director, and Admins. This subforum can be accessed here: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/forum/674-warning-point-appeals/?page=1 Updated Appeal System: We are no longer appealing the points you earn but the warning itself. The amount of points earned is the number of months you must wait to appeal your warning Only one overall forum warning can be appealed at a time. Warnings must be appealed in the order they were given. No warning may be appealed within one month of receiving a new one. Verbal warnings will only delay the appeal of other warnings if you have 8+ warning points. Verbal warnings can only be appealed if you have had no offenses on the forums in correlation to the reason for your verbal, in a six months span of time. All warning appeals must be submitted in the sub-forum, using the correct format. Forum Restrictions (Alternative punishments such as status restrictions, moderated content, etc.) are to be appealed before warnings. The appeal for the restriction must be accepted before the wait to appeal your warning(s) begins. Do note, with the implementation of this system and the necessary waiting while transferring between systems - we will be revising the forum rules, and keeping better track of all warnings handed out to players. Warning points will inevitably be distributed less frequently, and only given to those who display clear misconduct on the forums. We acknowledge when we make mistakes, and encourage you to bring your concerns directly to us if you feel a warning you received was unjustified.
