  2. The Naztherak write was posted on the forums (April 10th) before the current blessed children feat was accepted (April 13th, 5 months after it was posted), which is why the inconsistency exists, as the old lore made no clarification as to what was / was not allowed vs allowed.

  5. “Now if memories serve correctly- and the books I have on it.” Ember flips through some books “this is rather appalling. To think humans are THAT racist is beyond me” Ember seemed rather disappointed in the heartlanders

  7. Backlash to such strength is stated under the leg effects.
  8. + 20 approve it NEOWWWW on a serious note this fills, however small it is, the niche i've been wanting in druidism with the meteorology spell alone. i've been waiting and wanting for the day that druidism isn't just plants and animals because the sphere of 'nature' encompasses so much more. i'm very excited to be a part of these if this gets passed
  9. An ancient, sunlit elfess would stare at the missive in absolute horror, "What the **** were they thinking? They are either incredibly ignorant, or extremely racist. I will certainly not be frequenting these lands.."

  11. "Not as cool as the Cerusil, but you know, your trying" Sylvir would give a thumps up
  12. I think it's fine, but maybe you could make it so the potion causes someone to have backlash from such strength, otherwise it's fine. +1
  13. "I will have to avoid entering tournaments" Rafael said as he read that the zodiac of the bull. "Only the stars can hold me back from winning."
  14. No real purpose, to be honest. I just thought they worked as a good conduit to match the druid count and scale. They're pretty useless outside of giving players a way to stop / destroy ritual sites. Personally for me, a lot of lore pieces (a bane of repetition) allow rituals with minimum requirements. I would have usually added more to the ritual requirements if they had a grander affect to the playability of players, but it does not.
  15. I now it doesn’t really matter but I’m curious why you added specific kuila counts. Especially since it’s just an open resource that can get spammed.
  16. Subject: Appreciation for Druidic Ritual Lore Piece Dear [Author], I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the lore piece you've crafted detailing various rituals for druids. Your imaginative descriptions vividly bring to life the ancient traditions and mystical practices of these revered nature guardians. The way you've woven together elements of ceremony, cooperation, and reverence for the natural world is truly captivating. Each ritual you've outlined carries a sense of significance and purpose, reflecting the deep connection between druids and the forces of nature they seek to harmonize with. From influencing weather patterns to fostering the growth of forests, your rituals offer a diverse range of possibilities for storytelling and roleplay. Moreover, I admire the thoughtfulness you've put into ensuring that these rituals remain balanced and conducive to positive player experiences. By incorporating redlines and requirements, you've provided clear guidelines while still allowing for creative interpretation and exploration. The Forestation and Tree Sealing rituals, in particular, stand out to me for their narrative potential and thematic resonance. They offer compelling avenues for players to engage with themes of environmental stewardship and the protection of natural habitats. Overall, your submission adds depth and richness to our world, enriching the lore of druidic practices and offering exciting opportunities for player-driven storytelling. Thank you for your dedication to enhancing our community with your creativity and passion. I eagerly anticipate seeing these rituals come to life in our shared narrative. Warm regards, [Your Name]

  18. The following is accessible information only to current corcituri. You slip into the snug dark of sleep or a hypnagogic trance and your mind’s eye drifts in and away to distant fathoms. This void melts into the typical knit of forgotten dreams yet unlike those nights you stir. Your mind refuses to be lulled comfortably, instead in a state of fringe consciousness, eyes ready to snap open and wake. You cannot. A dip in a pool, the drudgery of labor, a savored conversation; flying, falling, being chased, losing teeth. Your mind runs laps around you as the dream, whatever it may be, coaxes you in and urges you forward. Your wayfaring mind conjures up stories of storms abroad, unfaithful friendships, laundry, four-winged dragons, and overdue taxes. They abound and twist as you shift and slump where you rest. The reality of your dream becomes apparent, its inconsistencies and absurdities cluing you into its false nature. In place of imagination and rest you have vigilance and unease, the cord of waking just beyond your mental grasp. You cannot wake. Your fingers sweat, your hands tremble, your guts churn and usher forth bubbling groans, and your heart thumps like a drum. This dream slides out of focus and the image stains red, blood leaking overhead to pour down walls and gush with alarm. Gore paints the walls in sticky ribbons. You cannot wake. Your disturbed fragmentary sleep coalesces with force. Your heart palpitates and overwhelms your hearing, the thud and pump drowning out what meager coherent thoughts you can form. Then the imagery slides back into focus and your dream sours; trees weep red, the earth bubbles with ruddy pits, faces frightfully dissolve into inhuman globules, and all sense of safety and rest are shattered. The heat cranks, your heart pounds, your head throbs, and you clutch at your chest. Gruesome avian claws now sprout from your fingers. You open your mouth to howl in alarm yet you are greeted by a dry itch which tickles your throat and chokes, thirst. You cannot wake. Your chest seizes and liquid fire splashes about in your guts. You open your mouth to heave yet instead a torrent of blood spouts out and bathes the ground and yourself. Sticky, frightened, ablaze with chest pain, there is finally relief in what feel like final dying moments, prone and dizzy. The hypnagogic experience reorientates. Your head turns skyward. The fragile elements of the story unfolding in your sleep break down. In place of dread or anguish you feel only stillness. Overhead the ceiling or heavens of the setting collapse upon you in a final omen. Scratching, shoveling, the scrape of topsoil. A candlelit chamber bereft of structure. The scarlet flare of hellfire. The scene falls upon and over you. Your vampiric eyes parse from the shadows a broad and squat ebony marble table adorned by a fluted cup whose glass spines could cut deep with crimson candles. A pitch basin. Red to the rim. Clawing thirst. Either falling into the sky or flattened by it you drift closer to the dim sight. Freshly turned earth fills your nose alongside subtle brimstone and smoke. You see your reflection in the vessel’s crimson fill. A monstrous reflection; fanged, feral, and eyes of fire. You open wide. You drink deep. Euphoria. You wake. Corcituri receptive to Prophecy are haunted by another Ill Portent

  20. ORIGIN The first aspirants of the druidic arts, bereft in wisdom, or guidance, took to praying in large circles in the fae-wilds. At all hours of the day, the peripatetic nature of these wayfaring druids continued in their long journey across the continents. They knelt before their patrons in wind, in snow, in rain and fog; when the sunlight basked the canopies of their forests, or when moonlight roused fireflies in the night. In their dances and liturgies, they moulded in practice, and learned to mesh their powers in rhythm to achieve great feats of nature. When the forests remained silent, they ebbed trees across wastelands, and when the sky brought floods and storms, they paved the way for sun and warmth. With slow and articulate practice over the centuries, the druids were able to wield their ceremonial rites and tap balance into its dutiful course. EXPLANATION This lore achieves to bring in player-driven, story-narrative ritual abilities for druids without requiring other supplement feats that are restricted or not as open to the playerbase. Furthermore, one of the goals in this feat is to allow more cohesion between circles in order to accomplish great druidic feats, where they are currently unable to do so. A lot of these rituals are not combat-heavy and do not look to cause or create implements whereby druids will be able to grief the world. It is to bring more aesthetic flare. Due to the fact that druidism requires a wealth of time and dedication, ceremonial rites will be restricted to [T3] and above. ☆ The redlines and requirements for each ritual will be noted in red. ☆ As a general consensus, all rituals will require one partaking to be T3 or above. ☆ Certain rituals may have further requirements in order to complete, which will be noted in them. ☆ All druids [T3] and up can be automatically taught these rituals. Source: Anastelfy - Pinterest (???) RITUALS As of writing this lore piece, the below rituals may be accomplished with a group of druids. However, this lore opens the opportunity for druids to write other rituals in the future, either through additions or MArts. This also opens more rituals for specific subsets of druidism that have not already been written into the lore. ✯ Meteorology [Ritual] - Requirement: This requires [5] druids that are [T3] or above in order to accomplish. However,[3] druids of [T3] and above with [1] Treelord to supplement may also work. A circle of druids must set [3] kuila crystal on an area surrounded by a heath of wildlife and plants in order to complete this ritual. They must carve druidic runes in rows around the crystals so that all are connected together. Once the area has been set, druids may share their powers and endow it into the crystals, causing the runes to charge, unleashing their fae-energies to scatter into the air, warping the weather. ✯ Fishing Grounds [Ritual] - Requirement: This requires [3] druids that are [T3] or above in order to accomplish. However, [1] druid who is [T3] and above with [1] Treelord to supplement may also work. A circle of druids must set [1] kuila crystal near the shores of a lake or oceanside beach in order to complete this ritual. They must carve druidic runes around the kuila crystal in one great loop, forming a circle. Once the ritual site has been set, druids may share their powers and endow it into the crystal, causing the runes to glow and charge, unleashing fae-energies into the oceans. Immediately, the area will hum songs into the waters, and draw in sea-life. ✯ Hunting Grounds [Ritual] - Requirement: This requires [3] druids that are [T3] or above in order to accomplish. However, [1] druid who is [T3] and above with [1] Treelord to supplement may also work. A circle of druids must set [1] kuila crystal in an area filled with an abundance of wildlife, such as a forest or mountain, in order to complete this ritual. They must carve runes around the kuila crystal in one large circle. Directly next to the kuila crystal, within the same rune, one must set bait - this can be vegetation, or slabs of meat, depending on what the druid is hunting for. Once the ritual site has been fixed, druids may share their powers and endow it into the crystal, causing the runes to glow, fester, flit and charge, unleashing fae-energies that will carry the aroma of the bait across said wildlife. Immediately, wildlife will be drawn to it. Source: The Legend of Korra - Harmonic Convergence ✯ Forestation [Greater Ritual] - Requirement: This requires [10] druids that are [T3] or above in order to accomplish. However, Treelords may supplement the number of druids as per redlines. A circle of druids must set [10] kuila crystals in an area lacking or victim of deforestation, usually in places where lumber has been chopped, or where forest-fires have been rid of nature. Due to the size of the ritual-site, each crystal will usually be supplemented by [1] druid each. Runes must be carved across each crystal, which is a long and arduous process, before all druids must supplement this ritual-site. From within the druid, their energies will ebb into the deforested area, and will begin to grow roots and sprout plants and treelife. ✯ Tree Sealing [Greater Ritual] - Requirement: This requires [8] druids that are [T3] or above in order to accomplish. However, Treelords may supplement the number of druids as per redlines. A circle of druids must set [8] kuila crystals around [1] tree. The area in which the crystal is set does not matter, nor does the tree, as long as it is large enough to contain whatever attempts the druids are making. The beast, person, or creature they are attempting to contain must be able to fit inside the trunk of the tree; this can be artificially created via carving it open and making room-space within. The beast, person, or creature must be unable to escape during the time in which the ritual site is being set, if it hasn’t been done so already. When prepared, druids will endow their process into the kuila crystal and the runes carved around the tree; a thicket of energies will create brambles that latch around the haft of the tree, blocking exit for whatever is contained within. PURPOSE I wanted to write rituals. Also Vaatu from TLOK being trapped in a tree was funny, even though TLOK sucks.
