[Event] The Glorious Hunt

Gronkk wanders around Gronkkston, bored and full. He has too much to eat in this marvelous city he and his kin constructed, and feel that his brethren have grown lazy and content. Hiding behind a set of walls and living in apartments is easy, whilst killing elves and taking their armor is easier still. There was no challenge in being an Orc anymore. Of course, Gronkkbelly, the voice in Gronkk's head, told this to Gronkk. Gronkk was busy thinking about his next meal. He decided he would have pig and halfling goulash.

 

After his grand meal, Gronkkbelly speaks to him again. This time, he urges Gronkk to rally his kin and take them to their homeland: the desert. Gronkk giggles maniacally as he begins hoarding tents from the magical skygods, and collecting supplies for the hunt.

 

Gronkk then has his favorite goblin son, Tako, put up posters all across the city.

 

 

The Glorious Hunt

 

Urukz, in thirty moons we shall gather our weapons and tents, then venture out past Kal'Ithrun and to the desert. We shall set up camp in the most remote, dangerous area of our desert, and not leave until our loincloths are stained with blood and our packs our full with hides. The creatures of the night will be crushed by the might of Krug.

 

Prepare yourselves, brothers. Your time of comfort is at an end.

Date: Saturday November 2nd - 03:00PM EST

Location: Meet at Gronkkston at 3PM. Coordinates to the camp will be revealed to any Orcs that show up late.

What to bring: Sword, tent, some food.

((I guess no one's stopping you from trying. Orc rp is always worth trying. A lot of people say orcs have the best rp, but we really just need more people to enjoy it with. If you're interested in trying your hand at orc rp, you should definitely go for it. I'm not trying to encourage anyone to just be a one-day orc, but if you think you'd enjoy playing orc do it. Also, if you haven't read any of the orc lore, I'd strongly recommend you take a look at it to see if orc culture is interesting to you. I'm not trying to seem like I'm assigning you homework or anything lol. I'm just suggesting you make sure you know what you're jumping into. However, I can assure you, you'd be jumping into a really cool race. So, I guess it's like Gronkk said: show up and we'll see.))

    You have not integrated into orc life, and are not being taught shamanism by any of the teachers though. Elphie told you that you could try to get into the culture, but you havent. So she abandoned the idea of ever teaching you.
