It was originally started by Availer, and he modeled the ancient lore on various components of a number of religions, although I believe the main influence was Islam, since that was his own religion as far as I know. You can see this in the fact that Iblees is literally the name of the Devil in the Islamic faith.

 

However, the religious roots of the server quickly dissipated past the ancient lore (par some of Mogroka's lore). We primarily run on the standard RPG/RP tropes such as the races you see, how they act, etc, but as a whole the development of the server has been very random and dynamic due to the many, many hands that worked on developing it and writing lore for it.

If you want a more accurate description of how the server started i'd ask Shiftnative or Tythus since they were literally the first members, I believe. I was just working off of what i'd heard and read.

Without trying to sound hostile. What was the point of making this poll?

 

Why do you guys not use this 'Your View' forum more? None of the vote options involved an overhaul of character cards or donator perks. Why do you keep adding plugins in this manner?

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure everyone appreciates the fact that we have a tech team making custom plugins for the server they play on.

 

But why do you guys not use this forum more and involve players, rather than releasing a plugin and getting an onslaught of complaints?

The majority did not vote for extra, or subtractive VIP perks, either.

 

The majority also voted for not releasing individual professions, which we therefore didn't do. Waiting a while now.

Majority voted for retaining soulstone to spawn as an option, which you now have, and will continue to have after we've discussed with racial leaders where each of the racial homes go.

The majority voted for optimizing in ways that didn't impede key features, which this plugin does (otherwise we'd have butchered your animals by now).

The reason for this release is because Admins also have a say in what comes first.

 

So that's an ok score on the listening to player feedback track. For extra credit: I've coded seasons (as decided on by poll), but am withholding it because it cooperated with farming which you do not want unless part of a bundle. And admittedly I could've released racial bonuses right now, but let's face it, there'd be complaints about it too.

There is no owner.

 

No reason to demote her.

There is no owner.

 

Tythus is the legal owner. He controls the hosting servers, maintains all legal documents in his name, and controls the server's finances.
