Should I Return?

Hello fellow Roleplayers!

 

My name is Hayden, also known as CisoSecond by many of my Roleplaying friends. I have done a very large of roleplaying spread out among Crafthammer, Holloworld and this server, usually moving with the shift of "power", as it were. This large amount, however, was done on and off. I do enjoy roleplay a lot, though when there are actually people to play with (more on that in a moment).

 

As said before, I have recently played on this server, and in that time I played a character who joined the Arcane Delvers in an attempt to find some actual roleplay on the server. However, through out that time of being in the Delvers, I never felt included in the roleplay, but rather a passerby, or a viewer of sorts. That, however, is not the center of my complaints. As stated, I had joined in an attempt to find roleplay, as I never found anyone to roleplay with.

 

From what I had seen from wandering around, I really enjoyed the world that was made. Signs everywhere describing the surrounding area and interesting on-goings with in the world. I felt immersed in this world that people had made, albeit a bit lost.

 

My question is should I return. I have found myself with a large amount of free time on my hands, so I'm looking for something to fill the void. When I last left the server, there was a debate going on about rollplay vs roleplay (the latter being my preferred way by leagues), is that still in effect? If you think I should return, what advice can you give to actually getting somewhere in the server and the (very well-crafted) world it holds.

The map has been significantly streamlined in recent months, and I believe spawn is being moved to a more convenient location within the next week or so. It should be easier to find roleplay.

The swiftness of the responses solidifies my choice to return. However, there is still the problem of actually finding people to play with. I normally don't have problems with this sort of thing, but I have found it significantly difficult in previous attempts, any suggestions?
