Haribo 385 Share Posted December 3, 2013 Prelate Signus Cross walks, in a more humble fashion than previously to the altar. He looks out at the crowd for a moment. A veil of silence falls over the assembled clergymen. "Assembled men, loyal to the Creator and the Holy Light. We have met here to make change. To dawn upon us a new church. And here, today, we are standing in front of it. For the first time in the history of the Church of the True Faith, we are holding a conclave to decide who will become the High Ecclesiarch. A true conclave, where all clergy may voice their opinions on who, among the purest and holiest of men. Should rule as vicar of the Creator. To lead this ancient name to greatness. So that we may be the true word of the Creator. Today we usher in the First Conclave of the Church of the True Faith to decide who it shall be. The system itself is rather simple. The following conclave shall be divided into three or less rounds of voting. Every clergyman votes. The first candidate to reach the required majority of seven receives the title. Each round the candidate with the least amount of votes will have his candidacy struck, having been eliminated from the election. This will happen until a candidate acquires the required majority of seven or all the candidates are eliminated save for one. Deus Vult." Signus Cross looks at the scribe (Esterlen) to begin walking around with the ballots.
Kralek 519 Share Posted December 3, 2013 King Rydel Orlandir MacLachlan of Little Adunia sits beside the High Rabbi regally. He bends over whispering to the High Rabbi, before standing up and proclaiming to the ensemble of Clergymen. "I, King Rydel Orlandir MacLachlan of Little Adunia and true heir to the Kingdom of Adunia, propose that the High Rabbi be taken in as a true messenger of the Creator. His title kept and his nomination for Ecclisiarch be validated by the church, as it is the will of the Creator."
Haribo 385 Share Posted December 3, 2013 Signus Cross stands up and looks over at the small adunian pride parade that somehow sneaked itself underneath the guard's noses and managed to locate this meeting which location was only disclosed to clergymen. "Can the guards escort out these unwelcome visitors that have somehow squeezed themselves inside this congregation of clergymen?" The Prelate gestures to the various non-clergymen and the adunians and their grand rabbi.

Archbishop John 85 Author Share Posted December 3, 2013 Prelate Signus Cross walks, in a more humble fashion than previously to the altar. He looks out at the crowd for a moment. Signus Cross looks at the scribe (Esterlen) to begin walking around with the ballots. Slams his hands on the table "Stop Voting for the Creator's sake!" I disagree, how can we allow every clergymen to vote? How is it wise that every priest votes, this would be a corruptible system then every Archbishop shall anoint new Priests and bring them along to vote for him. How do you insure the integrity of it? When the next Head is elected we might have more priests running around how well you arrange there votes if there are more than twenty of them there are to many problems with allowing everyone to vote. And before that we need to fix the Cannon law. Or we could do this we Elect now but he dose not take power put is named High Ecclesiarch-elect, and after we finish cannon law, he is crowned and can take leadership. Castus 71 Share Posted December 3, 2013 Castus looks to Bishop John, nodding sourly, "With this system, I could easily annoint a dozen new priests friendly to my views if I should intend to fix the election. This is a most corruptible execution of ecclesiarchal selection, and will undoubtedly lead to near-schismatic political factions in the future. However, with dwindling numbers, it may be a more substantive elecion if we proceed in this manner."
ToenailTickler 290 Share Posted December 3, 2013 "Brothers, friends, and fellow clergy. I put forward a new way to this vote. As you know the dioceses of Cavan and schattenberg are not filled. We must find two priests, who will be elected by us, the bishops and archbishops. To help fill this void. What do you say to this brothers?" Allow no new priests past this point to join in. But honestly you're right, what other way do we have to do this election? I see no other option. If someone could put forward something then I would be more then happy even if I lose my ability to vote." "Brothers, friends, and fellow clergy. I put forward a new way to this vote. pfmaz 6 Share Posted December 3, 2013 "He United Oren after the failure that was William Horen, he united Humanity. Only person to do such a thing before was the great Godfrey." "Naive to think so, Owyn forged Siegmunds Kingdom and layed the foundations for Carrion, My Father, Ostromir conquered Oren(Renatus and Salvus) and removed all nobility which stood in our way. Tuvya established a lasting economy and supported Ostromir. Siegmund was a good father, but no divine. For his actions where supporting rather than doing." "Revered works better in such a situation- shall we saint my father to while we are at it?" The Prince-Archbishop snarls, "Howest, I nominate myself to fill Gwenael Ashfords roll as Exarch in his absence. My holdings are mostly honorary apart from my secular duchy of Renatus. It would match my aptitudes."
