The scribe checks each vote, noting that even if Iosif votes in favour of proceeding with the anointment it still will not continue. As such, he makes his way to the podium, next to Signus.

"Three out of five electors have voted against proceeding with the anointment of the Ecclesiarch's nominated, Archbishop Alexios. As such, we shall now present our candidates and hold a vote on them, looking for another who might hold the Synod's approval. They are as follows:

Signus, Prelate.

Castus, Archbishop of Herendul.

Alexios, Archbishop of Oren.

Iosif, Metropolitan of Kralta."

The scribe hands the container to a valet, who ensures that black smoke, signifying the lack of a High Ecclesiarch, will billow from the chamber's chimney.

John flicks his head a bet "We shall require time to speak and discuss before we proceed?" he looks at a layman entering handing him a piece of paper, he takes it and reads. He stands up does the holy symbol across his chest "Brothers pray for mercy, pray for peace our Emperor is no more God rest his soul."

"Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. So say we all."

He continues to hold the paper he frowns heavily and says no in a low voice.

"The Empire is to be disbanded and Oren and Heredal be made independent of each other." Slams his hand on the table "We cannot allow that brothers Oren must always be united or human kind is weak, if I can put a motion forward to call upon Von Roy and discuss this with him, we can crown him we can tell him how a better government can be established a elective Empire, with elector princes? The last Church father spoke fondly of that idea. This does not bode well for the faith."

He shakes his head his face turn deep red "He praises the times of Kings in Aegis a man on his sick bed forgets or does not remember maybe, all of the Aegis kings where weaklings, heretics and scum. And he praises the succession, he forgets or he does not as Carrions were not there, that Kings sons did not inherit in Aegis it was the Steward that would take the throne most likely by force. We shall not allow a age of foul kings to topple greatness of our unity! May it be a federation or a Conglomeration or a Empire but never a Kingdom for they are the foulness!"

Iosif snaps awake from his dozing. [[i was on a date all last night, apoligies.]] He clears his throat before speaking in a gruff, Raevir accent.

"Da, well, I do accept nomination by his eminence, Bishop John. Also, I agree completely with him on matter of preservation of empire. This is high priority above all else. We must not fall to petty schisms and squabbles, especially during time of war and hostility from many other nations. I second the motion to summon Lord Von Roy, so we may discuss this troubling matter with him. Now, I for one need some time to dwell upon and pray about the upcoming approval of the new High Ecclesiarch."

He nods as he finishes, then proceeds to close his eyes and pray solemnly.

Nods and starts writing up a letter.

"Greetings Lord Von Roy uncrowned King of Oren. We the Church write to you to day to ask of you humbly to accept our summons to our holy sanctuary of peace, to discuss matters of your crowning and place upon your head your Crown, please do not bring with you armed men, we shall allow a few guards to come but they must keep there arms outside of the Sanctuary, for it is a place of peace not a place of steel and war.

He gives detail of where the Sanctuary is located in the letter.

Regards the humble servants of the almighty."

He sends off the letter with a Layman

He then writes to more

"Greetings Lord Dunham true champion of the Faith we request you in the presence of the Church to bear witness in the talks and crowning of King Von Roy."

"Greetings Lord Stafyr great servant of the Creator we request your presence of the Church to bear witness in the talks and crowning of King Von Roy."

He sends them off also.

A fourth letter is sent to Ailred Ruthern, Lord of the Dreadlands.

"Greetings Lord Ruthern, guardian of the people, the Church requests your presence to bear witness to the talks and crowning of King Von Roy."

Like the letters sent before, information on where to find the sanctuary is found. A pageboy mounts a donkey and rides to the Dreadfort to deliver the letter to its recipient.

He stands as he sees Lord Stafyr. " Ah Greetings Lord Stafyr" he walks towards him he raises his hand and makes the gesture of the Holy Faith in the air in front of him.

"O Lord, into Your hands and into the hands of Your holy angels, this day I entrust this soul, his relatives, his benefactors, his friends and enemies, and all Your Faithful people. O Lord, by the merits and prayers of the Blessed Son Horen and of all Your saints, keep him today from all evil and unruly desires, from all sins and temptations of Ibless, from a sudden and unprovided death, and from the pains of the Nether. Enlighten his heart with the grace of Your Holy Light. Grant that he ever be obedient to Your commandments. Let him never be separated from You, O God, who live and reign with God the Creator and the same Holy Light forever. So say we all."

He places his hand on Lord Stafyr shoulder "You may take a seat holy son."

A few laymen and priests walk outside, they bow to Lord Roy "Lord Roy please with us, we shall show you in, your men can stay in the courtyard if you wish, please no weapons this is a holy place, the men in the courtyard can keep there weapons." If you  follow they would lead you threw the gates and then threw the doors to the sanctuary and then lead you to the room where the meeting is held.

He walks then walks towards William and makes the sign once more as he says

Lord God Almighty, You have brought him safely to the beginning of this day. Defend him in it by Your mighty power, that this day he may not fall into sin, but that all his words may be spoken and all his thoughts and actions directed in such a manner as always to be pleasing in Your sight. Through Saint Thomas. So say we all.

He places a hand on his shoulder and gives a slight nod. "Take a seat holy son."

*Raises a brow, motioning for the men to stop bowing*

"Uncle Siegmund disapproved of bowing to your superiors, a simple lower of neck and looking to ground will suffice."

The guards stand in a single file within the courtyard, with their hands placed firmly on the hilt of the sword, Heinrik then walks quickly into the meeting room.
