As the dinner in the Decterum keep was coming to an end, all of the men had finished eating and had begun to converse about the various current events in Anthos, Tiberius glanced around for a brief moment. Tiberius completely zoned out, then a booming shout abruptly ended his moment of peace, king Heinrik began to bark orders for the men to leave the dining hall. The men lined up in front King Heinrik awaiting orders eagerly. One man, Isidor kneeled before the mighty king and kissed who boots before the humble King Heinrik told him to rise and thanked him for his service, he thanked all of them. The men were curious, they thought to themselves, "Why is the king approaching us and being strange?"

 

The king said, "You all need to scout out the Dwarven lands. I have received reports of some mobilization, both economically and militarily, you need to scout out the lands to see what they have." The men all nodded in union and set out, the orders were clear, they knew they weren't meant to get themselves caught and they had to be subtle and discrete about the spying.

The scouting party hurriedly ran toward the Dwarven lands. They ran down the roads and cut through forests, they truly made haste with the intention of getting in and getting out as quickly as possible. They knew the Dwarves had the numbers to thwart them back if it were to spur into violence. They trudged through the Valles mountains, the entire time the Lord Commander of the Redcross, a very prestigious order, was commanding the party, making sure they wouldn't get caught. 

When the men finally reached the Dwarven lands they were caught. The Lord Commander was attacked and gravely injured, the rest of the men managed to retreat back and evade the Dwarves. The Lord Commander's heart was punctured by an arrow which was shot by an unknown Dwarf (He is not perma dead). The men retreated back into the forest and observed the walls from afar. The Decterum soldiers maintained discipline and held their ground in the forest, not retreating out of fear of the Dwarves finding them. The strelts routed instantly. 

The Decterum men as represented by the picture walked away grimly. They have gotten the information, but at a price. They have lost to the Dwarves, the men pouted to themselves as they came back to the Old Cavan fort. The Dwarves winning is a rare occurrence, and a very sad one which requires mourning for the following days for the Decterum. It scarcely loses to the Dwarves, but when it does it's a day where the Creator truly is testing their faith. 

 

Tiberius looks over the pictures and sighs, "What a price to pay for such vague pictures."

The men of The Decterum rally at the river bank opposite that of the Dwarves. Tiberius approaches Lord Ailred, "How do you suppose we're going to get across the river?" he asks Lord Ailred, the man who led the raid. (Not me)

Lord Ailred responds, "Boats!"

Hoscus interjects into the conversation and says "I can make boats!" Hoscus then begins to construct small boats to sail across the river so the men could get on with the raid.

The pompous men rid across the river on the boats. They were shoutings slander and attempted to taunt the Dwarves to demoralize them further. Tiberius told them to quiet down because the obese midgets somehow didn't see them yet (To his perspective, he's oblivious to everything) "Men! We're going to lose! The Dwarves always outnumber us, but we'll lose with pride!" Noticing that he was contradicting his previous statements he chuckles nervously and says he was joking. The rest of the crew laughs, their morale was somehow boosted from this. 

The men regrouped on the beach, shouting more slurs at the Dwarves. They decided to pair up in groups and cease to have a hierarchy. It was complete anarchy for a few moments, then Lord Ailred reappeared and shouted, "FOLLOW ME!" and the men followed him obediently. They began to waver as they climbed up the mountain, making them exhausted only to see the Dwarves at the base of the mountain. The group charged down and then the Dwarves fled like the obese midgets they were.

 The dwarves waddled as fast they could back to their keep. The Humans stared in awe, this was something they've never seen before. These Dwarves could've run 2 kilometers in at least twenty minutes at that rate. It was faster then any Dwarf could ever waddle. It was disgusting, a few men threw up a little.

-Official Decterum Update-

 

Members of the order, along with their Uruk , Red Cross, and H.A.F allies caught off guard by a dwarven attack force earlier this month. Thankfully, thanks to the skill of these Oren and Orcish warrior, they were able to completely route the dwarvish tyrants, and counter-attack. They were forced back into their "fort". There was not a single Decterum casualty.

 

Also, members of The Decterum and The Red Cross successfully defended the March of Valles from the vile spookmen and their minions. Sadly, there were several casualties on our side, yet the valiant men of The Decterum managed to hold Valles.
