The Scavengers Of New England

                                                   Red_corsairs_emblem_by_steel_serpent-d3a

The squad in the black sedan spots the battle and quickly pulls back and speeds towards their camp... dust kicking up in the opposite direction..... as far away from the camp as they are they radio in for help. They need allies out in this wild area and now they know how to get them. Home-Base was alerted to gather their forces... and soon they will arrive. With 2k foot soldiers, all armed with various assortments of weapons varying from simple hunting rifles to crossbows. Behind the wave of soldiers 10 cars and trucks roll up behind them. Each stuffed with as many soldiers as they can. In total there were about 15 gunman armed with hunting rifles and another 20 with crossbows in the cars and trucks.  The 2k of foot soldiers are divided out in semicircle, surrounding the attacking tribes, bolts cocking back and crossbows being pulled back. The force took aim as the various assortment of cars and trucks began to circle around  Red Plains Fort... awaiting the final order from a single Jeep which appeared to be the leader for this assault. The leader in the Jeep clicks his radio on an open channel hoping to contact somebody inside the fort.... "I suggest you get to cover as we are about to open fire and save yer asses." The  small army begins its attack.

The Strategy: Fire at and distract the barbarians into the open, giving the Fort time to rally their troops and create a two pronged attack.

The Neo Mountie - Hanford Alliance

The Great Battle of Red Plain

800px-Flag_of_the_Lieutenant-Governor_of

Fire of savages rains down on the proud fort of Red Plains, Mounties of the Canadian Rainforest and Travois of Hanford struggle to organize, amongst the chaos, a man shouts out in a loud voice, deputy commander Sebastien Shen, a rallying cry for the true masters of the Continent's Northwest.

"AT ARMS, GUNMEN ON THE WALLS, TORCHMEN AND INFANTRY AT THE GATES. WE WILL NOT FALL TODAY. WE ARE THE TRUE SONS OF CANADA, THESE SAVAGES FROM THEIR ICY HELL KNOW NOTHING OF COURAGE, NOR THE STIFF UPPER LIP OF BRAVE MEN KNOWING THEY DIE TODAY TO ACHIEVE VICTORY.

SHOULD WE DIE, WE DIE AS MEN, AND WE WILL BE HONOURED BY THE COMING VICTORY IN THE MORNING.

FIGHT FOR YOUR FAMILIES AT HOME, KNOW WE ARE MAKING THEIR LIVES BETTER, FOR YOUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS, FOR THE SAKE OF A BRIGHTER FUTURE.

FOR THE TRUE NORTH! STRONG AND FREE!"

A roar erupts through the ranks of the mounties and Travois, the panic was over, they ranked up, loaded their weapons, and the real fight began.

vimy_10.jpg

It was a bloody war of attrition, the mounties had restocked their ammo from the dead of their previous victory and utilized their automatic weapons to their advantage. A dozen RPGs had not yet been used, as well as several high powered hunting rifles. Sharpshooters adorn themselves on the walls of the fort, firing down at the vulnerable northern savages from above.

The Men of New England are an unexpected help, with the added bonus of numbers, morale is lifted. The Mounties and Travois fight with more vigor than ever, for men who lived in the constant prescence of death's shadow, they did not fear it. The Alaskans are driven into a two front battle.

Meanwhile, in a secret bunker in the heart of Fort Red Plain, a dozen mounties attempt to get a radio working, it is old and by no means easy to communicate with, if they succeed, a message would be sent back to Hanford as followed.

The Scavengers Of New England

Red_corsairs_emblem_by_steel_serpent-d3a

The Scavengers Of New England begin to slowly back off, their cars and trucks darting in and out of the barbarian's ranks shooting with hunting rifles and crossbows and whacking with crowbars... Savage after savage fell but they were heavily outnumbered. They began to pull back out, hoping to draw the savages out while the Alliance rains hell upon the enemy. The Scavengers begin to pull out quickly, some foot troops gaining speed by hopping onto the sides of zooming trucks and cars... drawing out further and further but keeping constant rain of makeshift arrows and their bullets into the enemy ranks. The Scavengers are constantly drawing back, stopping every once and awhile to allow the enemy to gain some traction before raining down upon them again with their projectiles and by car/truck cavalry that darts in and out... many scavengers litter the ground but the adrenaline of the battle keeps them fighting furiously. ((It is up to the mods if the savages follow but the Scavengers are keeping them at a distance... or at least attempting to while still providing a hard fight))

REINO DE NUEVA HABANA

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsXDqohKNio&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Bloody barbarians. They should know better than to curl up on lands which by all rights belong to the reino. This is what the soldiers have been training for. This is what the ships were outfitted for. This is what the gunpowder was produced for. Hell, this is what Rey Alfonso was born for; He would ride into glorious combat against the savages and claim the lands of the continent for Havana!

n2YBghI.jpg

The soldiers are loaded onto transports, to be escorted in three separate groups each with military support from one of the frigates. The cannons on all the ships are fully armed, and the muskets in each of the soldier's hands was loaded, with plenty of powder to spare, and blunderbusses to be used in case of a lack of ammo. Yes, it would be glorious. The three branches of Nueva Habana's fully trained and equipped killing force would storm the continent in Veracruz, Yucatan, and Panama. Their goal would be to establish defensive locations there before pushing into the continent.

-Nation

King George receives the rapport about the anti-radioactive suits, with the anti-radioactive material in Glasgow, he sends it down to the scientists who work with the suit.
The lead scientists tells George about the possible failure of the suit, but George shows him sympathy. He then calls for all the scientist to meet with him, where he had prepared a speech.
"My friends, we are not only fighting for the future of Scotland, but all of Britannia. the gods will expect us to help them in this fight. i do know this can take time, but i promise you that i will put all effort into your research, and always remember. the gods are on our side."

The scientists then break out in a applause to the king.

King George then as promised, focus all research on the matter of the suit.

-outsiders

Not long after, king George receives word about the ships landing in the Highlands, for a moment he just stares out in the air, he then says to himself. "So....there really are others?... but how many?"

Being a bit paranoid about the outsiders, he sends a diplomat with 10 soldiers to the landing site of the outsiders. A scout sits in a tree not long away. watching the scene. (A mod is requested here)

-Research

All research is put into a way to make this anti-radioactive suit. for now they get 1 year to the research.

The Red Plains

Still the battle rages on. Protected behind their mantlets, the assaulting army takes reduced losses from the sharpshooters, though some of course still die. Smoke rises into the air as the fire slowly begins to spread within the walls, and a birds eye view would surely reveal a dramatic sight: the encampment completely surrounded by a horde of whooping natives, all firing back at the defenders.

War horns are blown as the bonfires in the distance still burn, the bodies of prisoners impaled on stakes. The battering ram smashes against the gate, and will knock it down in a matter of minutes. Meanwhile, the radio manages to successfully send the signal.((Video is approximation of the intimidating war horn))

The New England reinforcements manage to lure off a sizable chunk of the army...for a while. Once they realize what is being done, they fall back to regroup with the rest. As the reinforcements turn back to try to stay in the battle, around 500 horsemen ride from the forest, bearing the flag of the united tribes. They are all armed with hunting rifles or pistols, and keep their distance, harassing the New England forces and forcing them to react.

Cuba

The barbarians had been greatly weakened by the unexpected plague, but still stayed strong. In Vera Cruz, the landing faces no problems. In the Yucatan, there is no resistance, though native scouts are seen in the jungle. But in Panama...there are bigger problems.

The task force lands in the middle of a massing army, and are taken completely by surprise. As night falls over their encampment, thousands upon thousands of savages descend upon them, slaughtering them in their sleep. The ships are not safe either: they are stormed in the night, taken by ruthless warriors.

ans_35_01_2.jpg

What's more, the ships contain navigational charts, and the Spanish-speaking barbarians are able to listen in on the radio. On shore, the survivors of the attack are interrogated-before they are sacrificed.

The Highlands

The ships truly are magnificent, three grey-hulled vessels of war. The men now on shore wear what we would know today as hazmat suits. When approached, they seem friendly enough. Apparently the fleet generally stays at sea most of the time, and they ask what the highlanders have in the way of extra supplies.

Kingdom of Ayutthaya

Response to Mod actions

[Myammar]The emissaries dispatched to Myammar would willingly follow, except one of them would turn back to inform the King of the information. The rest of the emissary team would converse with the men as they follow, sharing their food and supplies and showing them/exchanging cultural peasantries( Burmese and Thais will know). They would also show concern about the men's plights, and would suggest lengthy rests and the such so that they(the men) can rest.

[Laos] All guns and munitions are salvaged and sent back to the capital. Following receiving the news, King Hirosashi orders the colonisation of Laos, planning to use its fertile lands for farming. Natives of the land are immediately accepted into the new society being formed there, and are offered the benefits of any Thai citizen, clean sets of clothes and education along with the abundance of food. The native culture is not surpressed, although it should be similar to the Thai culture itself. An army of 10,000 men[ First Royal Thai Expedition Forces] are sent to ensure the safety of the colonisation.

[Vietnam] The emissaries return, telling about the horrors they faced, men shooting at them as they arrived with gifts and without warning. King Hirosashi immediately orders the movement of the Second Royal Thai Expedition Forces of 10,000 men to march to the fort, and surround it. He intends to prevent bloodshed by seiging the fort instead. Meanwhile, the Third Royal Thai Expedition Forces of 10,000 men would occupy the area of vietnam, going to colonize the area too, similarly to what is happening at Laos.

[Cambodia] Emissaries are dispatched to the land of Cambodia, scouting the situation there.

King Hirosashi lets out a sigh as he watches the armies leave the capital, he does a silent prayer to the Buddha that blood shall not be spilled. However, as he looks over the papers and reports from throughout his nation, he cant help but smile as he observes internal trade and agriculture production continue to increase over time as more Thai's commit themselves to the banner of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. The Thai culture continues to spread, its followers finding peace in their lives. Thai musical instruments like the Sueng(Fiddle), Khim( Hammered Dulcimer), and Khlui(Flute) begin to pick up in popularity through Thailand.

As the population steadily grows, King Hiroshashi orders the formation and recruitment of the Fourth and Fifth Royal Thai expedition Armies. 20,000 men would be trained and equipped with light arms with the officers equipped with rifles using salvaged equipment scattered throughout Thailand. However, due to the scarcity of such ammunition and guns, it would take abnormally long for this men to be equipped. (( 2 pages))

-Outsiders

When the Diplomat approaches the outsiders, he looks around and smiles to them. After they spoke for supplies he ask.
"I will send word to my king about supplies, we have many extra. But i would need to ask for something in return. You see, our gods are fighting in the south, but the cloud that rules most of Britannia use something called "Radioactivity" to stop us from getting close. do you know of any way to protect ourselves from this radioactivity?, and also  do you have a map for the current world? is there any others then you out there? and do you know how many?" The diplomat could use hours on questions about the outside world, but he mostly awaits the respond about the suits. A single soldier in send back to tell the king about the encounter. and to bring supplies back to the camp. (

The Ethiopian Kingdom

Big news came in today. Haile Selassie had announced from his balcony that a new military is assigned to protect the sovereign Ethiopian citizen. The registration is finished, and Haile has more control of the population now. With the first muskets being finished, 300 soldiers are armed with these traditional weapons. A new group of soldiers is formed to operate in heavy circumstances, and in any circumstance. The Mehal Sefari are the most elite soldiers Ethiopia can fancy, and have lived in the harsh woods & jungles of Ethiopia for very long.

Mehal_sefari_(Civ5).png

Seeing how communications are hard and slow, the necessity for quick mail arises. Haile Selassie orders his men to start taming a certain bird. The Hoatzin bird, was perfect for the job. Being able to fly long distances, the bird somehow accepts other species as safe. Their fearless approach to anyone is the reason why there are so few, but Haile wants to secure them and breed them to be trained delivery birds. The royal palace's penthouse will be used as an Aviary. ((3 pages))

hoatzin-tambopata-peru.jpg

The fuel made from Alcohol is stacked up and prepared for a future conquest. Haile sees how the Iron mine north grows more stable as his people lay foundations every day ((for 2 pages no mod post regarding this, so I'll assume it works)). The iron import becomes bigger, but is not sufficient enough for Selassie's next ambition. Rails..

Haile saw how his people used old minecarts over the rails to travel to the salvage area of Addis Abeba, and he imagined this as easy travel to his outskirt farm villages. His centralized goverment should be there quick, and if any survivor is hostile to send reinforcements.. quick. The construction of a railroad towards the closest two agricultural villages begin, but Haile wants to achieve to have it going until the coast. ((4 pages))

[bahrain]

Khalifa was excited being under the glorious kingdom of Ethio-pia. However, he felt quite powerless when he wasn't able to give demands himself. As the Ethiopians work to enlarge the wooden platforms they have lived in, his workers join in to staple palm trees on the sides, and fill the gap with sand. Slowly but surely the island became an actual island, but to get the Bahrain as large as on the map, will be nearly impossible. The palm trees are growing well, but the Ethiopians unfortunatly demand a share of the fish income. With their help Khalifa could register his small population and found a goverment. The people of Bahrain became sick of living on wood, they wanted to feel sand & grass under their feet.

Khalifa starts the constructions of certain 'walls' in the shallow water, hoping to expand the actual land over time. He would fill the gaps with dirt and plant seeds, and use the 'products' from the people of Ethiopia to furtilize it. It was a simple, but fine plan. This however, would take a while ((5 pages)).

Meanwhile, Khalifa is ordered to lend a fishing ship to them. 50 Ethiopians and 10 Bahrainians boarded as it moved to the other side of the canal. The map Khalifa had said something about the old land Iran, but he did not remember this canal. But he had worse matters to attend to, like the 500 people refusing to work as they do not want to be under the 'Opressors'. Khalifa is relieved that they are not armed.

((Would like to have a mod to say what we find when we go to land at the 'new' coast of Iran and how we are greeted.))

HORNED MEN OF ICELAND

The weapons found were brought back immediately, along with some more salvaged scrap and the cache's of ammo. All ammo that seemed to work with the AK-47s is kept underground, along with the weapons themselves. The rest are studied and reverse engineered, as this discovery could lead to the tribe creating stronger and harder hitting rounds. Of the 68 AKs, 2 are taken to a forge where the men working there carefully take it apart. Eventually, it is thought that crude hand-made replicas of these guns can be created, giving the tribe access to fully automatic weapons. ((4 pages))

Meanwhile, old geo-thermal generators and factories are discovered 26 miles east of the camp. The factory is searched thoroughly for 2 days, the men looking for a handbook, or drawing - anything that shows how the generators work. Nothing is found, and so they detach the generators from long tubes running into the ground. On one side, freezing cold water spills out, but on the other, nothing obvious is seen. It is only when they return that Queen Amelia orders the searching of The Library - an old Icelandic University complex east of the remaining half of Reykjavik. It is in relatively good condition, only the paint is worn. The windows were boarded up ages past, and it has been guarded by the tribe for hundreds of years upon seeing it's survival. ((Need mod to say whether I find a geography book on geo-thermal power))

Sikh Confederacy

It wasn't supposed to happen like this! Makul was enraged. He had thought that by taking New Delhi he would earn respect among the Indian tribes and nations, and they would be encouraged to join the Confederacy. But it was the exact opposite. Apparently free India wanted to remain free. This troubled Makul greatly. There was one Triple Alliance that had been made against the Sikh Confederacy, each nation bordering it and coveting Sikh lands. Because of this threat, Makul ordered the full mobilization of the Sikh Army.

8qYFjzZ.pngThe triple alliance and the Sikh Confederacy. The Sikh Confederacy in red, Kashmir in blue, Maharashtra in green, and Greater Nepal in purple

In good news, the food situation in the Sikh Confederacy is now under control. A new harvest is starting to come, with farms now made. The re-stocking of food on shelves at stores re-assure the Sikh populous, along with military police, propaganda, and other things of the like, the disorder within the Confederacy itself was quickly quelled, some by fear of the new Sikh military police. But unfortunately military police did not make the other Indian nations be calm. The Triple Alliance of Kashmir, Maharashtra, and Greater Nepal were all thirsty for Sikh land, and 3 versus 1 on two fronts did not usually turn out well.

*Response To Mod Post*

The Scavengers quickly spin around and react to the approaching horsemen, ducking behind trucks and cars as cover they manage to get a few shots off but they know they have to get mobilized and they knew that the few cars they had wouldn't offer much cover for their remaining forces. They couldn't allow the enemy to reach the horde at the gate. Three cars were dispatched to the escaping horde. The cars zoomed past the returning barbarians, circling around to try and cut them off while firing their hunting rifles and crossbows. The truck began to race back and forth, dropping off ground troops to various points around the returning enemy...with  a total of half their remaining troops attempting to keep the horde from joining up with the other savages, the remaining troops (left to fend off the tribes cavalry) began to form ranks, morphing from shocked warriors into an organized legion. The remaining car cavalry began to drive towards the horses, shooting while they did so. But they had to wipe out any hope of reinforcements for the barbarians. The remaining 6 cars formed a V and charged head on to the horses, everyone ducking down from the windows as the drivers moved towards the horses at great speeds while the legion of footmen rain fire upon the horses and the other half of the forces attack the retreating savage horde.

The Tip, Maine Mod Action Required:

A census begins to go around the tent city ((will take about 2 pages)) as The Scavengers need more workers to aid expansion into the forest. Meanwhile the workforce, around 300 people, begins to work on cutting down the trees that surround The Tip ((3 pages)). Once the trees are completed farms will be built as well as permanent housing to get some people outside of the cramped tent city. Training sessions also begin, training a new mass of 1k armed men and woman to shoot, follow orders, and how to properly scavenge. A hunting party is sent out into the forest hoping to find a big meal to eat, maybe a flock of turkeys, a bear, or even a moose? ((Mod Action Required here. Do we find any game in the forests?))

The Search Party:

The party sent to the Harbor in Portland, Maine nears their destination with ((2 pages)) to go. Hopefully they can find a vessel among the ruins of the once-thriving flooded port city.

Boston Outpost Mod Action Required:

A Scavengers party reached the the Boston Public Library and now are searching among the remains for  books on weapon making, farming, and hydroelectricity. Any books found on fishing and military tactics would also be snatched from the shelves.

The Zulu

Military

Weeks of marching and setting up camp had finally paid off. The Kuquala Corps had reached the once known Capital of South Africa. Fighting was already observed to be heavy. Indunas of the different regiments discussed with the izinduna about different tactics to attempt to drive the opposing tribes out. It was decided to best course of action would be the famous offensive tactic known as the bull-horn. The friendly tribe that the Zulu had come to assist quickly fell into line with the rest of the forces, bolstering the numbers to 20,600 Impi chest of the formation consisted of a heavy 16,000 Impi while the two horns and the loins held 4,000 Impi. They would charge forward and crush anyone in their way.

The plan quickly went into play and the charge began at dawn. Warhorns could be heard from the farthest distance as the Zulu marched to show their military power. The local tribes quickly attempted to retaliate by forming a defensive line at the cities' borders. However it proves inevitable as the their tactics held no match. The chest advanced forward and delivered a shower of spears and a volley of musket rounds to weaken the front-line. Together the Chest and the Horns then charged forward to smash through the weakened front-line through a small hole created by the earlier ranged assault. Weapons were clashed but the tribal forces lacked the leadership and organization as their defense was a quick mock up to save themselves, since they already hated each other but were forces to work together. The small local tribes quickly fell back after suffering heavy casualties. Upon breaching the lines the Zulu forces had suffered light losses of about 700 Impi. Wounded forces were quickly carried back behind the bull-horn formation and were replaced with the additional reserve loins waiting to be called upon. The formation was spread further with the chest advancing into the interior of the city while the horns advanced on the borders to clear our any remaining and secure the borders of the city.

Diplomatic

With the recent conquest of Pretoria Shaka hastily welcomed the new tribal people in his home. The victory boosted much pride over the people of the Zulu. Shaka knew it was now time to spread his influence. He prepares an ultimatum and orders scouts to deliver them to the tribal leaders of South Africa.

"To the fellow chieftains of South Africa, it has come to my attention there has been much fighting over the years since the somehow fell into this state of despair. Deaths have been great and much has been lost but that does not mean we can rebuild together. As you have heard at Pretoria my warriors have taken the city with the assistance from a local tribe. Only together were we able to do it, friendship has paved our way to victory. I now send you this, I ask for you to lay down your arms and submit to my rule for the better of South Africa otherwise I will continue my advance west until I have completely destroyed anything that opposes me. You will all be given good treatment within our tribe and better living conditions. You have but three days to make your choice."

The letter is signed with Shaka's signature.

((Need mod the answer as the tribes.))

Back at home the Zulu's local forces have taken notice of the  Ethopian traders that had arrived in their lands. Since times of war and battle greatly ravaged the South African continent 60 warriors are sent our to surround them. Their weapons ready as they circled around them. Six armed with muskets step forward and do not hesitate as they open fire assuming they are scouts from a foreign tribe. The bodies are taken within the village and stored for food if they were to ever have a shortage.

Scientific

Meanwhile Shaka confronts the issue after hearing of the large metal walls blocking the scouting missions he orders. He begins to send a letter to the local mines to test out the strongest ore they find to see if it could pierce even the strongest of metals. Additional Scouting parties also head north to drill Oil Shale after being taught of its secrets. It is expected to take a few days.

After a recent scouting party they Zulu discover a weapon that they have never seen before. They understand it is a rifle but they do not understand what kind it is. Studies are done to gain more knowledge of it to start producing with the the large amounts of scrap metal they possess. Hopes are it will greatly improve the military's strength to hold even greater influence over South Africa.

Hanford

The battle rages on, and the city receives the message. With a chuckle, the leadership prepares what would be needed. 2 barrels of Poc, and 500 soldiers. Poc is a material used in starch production, and is very toxic Hanford looted it from the nearby starch plant early on in its life.. A single 50 gallon barrel spilling results in needing to evactuate everyone within a mile of the spill, or they would die.

And Hanford is sending 2.

Upon the 500 reaching the back of the Alaskan army, they would kick down the barrels into their army, hoping they don't know of the effects.

However, it's hard to transport 100 gallons of Poc. It is expected to take some time. ((1 page))

A radio signal is sent back to the men in the oil rig, telling them to be careful as to not gas themselves.

After releasing the Poc, Hanford would send 4000 soldiers once the effects of the Poc has dissipated to finish off the army.

The dam is completed and wired, giving the whole of Hanford electricity. Discussion incurs among the leadership, and some ideas are tossed around for what to do with the old Hanford site. However, they eventually settle on refitting it into a small weapon factory. ((3 pages, OK-d by Poc that it's possible))

The Honshu Republic

bdOPhEP.png

The rejection of the Republic's offer for Taiwan's annexation was most troubling, and is taken as an insult to the highest degree. The mobilization of Taiwan's meek military forces proves further that they were ungrateful to the Republic's generous backing of their war effort. All Honshu militant forces stationed in Taiwan are either called back to their outposts on the island, or remain occupying the western portion of the island. Detachments of patrol boats begin to circle key points, as orders are given in the dead of night. The Taiwanese were weak both in supplies and moral. They had just gone through a grueling war and had only won with a greater powers support. Now was the time to strike, and needless bloodshed would mostly be avoided.

Days prior to the attack extremely flammable materials are placed in key areas such as storage warehouses and farms. As midnight descends upon the island state, soldiers march their way out from their outposts, positioning themselves at their assigned areas. The signal is given, and the operation begins. Soldiers torch warehouses, granaries, and farms; anything that could even remotely aid the islanders in a siege situation. As most key regions are lit ablaze, the soldiers retreat back to their outposts by the shore, watching as the fires left in their wake consume everything in their path. Patrol boats also seize the oil rig. Any who attempted to stop the raiders are shot, although such occasions are minimal at the current time. Now all the Republic would need was to wait them out.

-=-

The typhoon effects areas already bogged with swamp as predicted, and effects to the population are minimal due to the land being uninhabited. Never the less, the Honshu's denizens retreat to their bunks or further inland in case of such emergency. Contact with trading partners and the Republic's colonies are lost for the duration of the storm. While the Honshu government is holed up, plans for further colonization are made. When the clouds clear, the many vessels of the Republic make their way out into the deep blue, but report rather disturbing information...

The Indonesians had beat them to the chase, colonizing the rest of the major islands in the Asian sea. This would likely lead to disputes later on, but such things would be attended to later on. The colonials simply divert their course, and settle down in secondary positions. Contact is made with a civilization known as the Kingdom of Ayutthaya, as well as with the Dragon Empire. No formal diplomatic envoys are sent, and instead the settlements wait for official contact from the civilizations. [southern Vietnam and Cambodia settled, land south of Dragon Empire settled, Korea/Manchurian region settled.]

In Korea, the cannibals are finally culled. With this, diplomats are sent to the Korean civilization, informing them that Korea would be under Honshu protection.

Military outposts are organized across Honshu territories to police the regions. Factories are complete across mainland Japan and the Philippines. Munitions, weaponry, and shells for warships continue production. The battleships and destroyers have completed repairs, passing initial tests. Meanwhile in Australia, the Confederate offensive is noted. Soldiers stationed in the Australian colony move in from the north into Outback territory while their militant forces are drawn south. Decisive blows are dealt farming regions, and looting is observed. if any large force were to head north to fend off the Honshu's encroaching forces, they would fall back to the safety of their outposts at the border. The outsiders stand confused as the diplomat barrages them with questions until one finally steps forwards, apparently speaking a common tongue as the Highland Tribes. He informs the diplomat that they come from an island to the west, not too far from their current location. He tells the diplomat that they have no clue what this 'radioactivity' is, but does tell him that there is civilization in the western isle. Mapping was restricted to the island, and the coast of the Highlands.

Settlers also find themselves beaten to the chase or pushed out by some sort of people by the name of the Honshu Republic. They appear to be rather seclusive in nature, not sending any form of diplomat.

Cambodia: Diplomats find the region to be colonized by the Honshu once as well. Contact would likely be the best option.
