A Letter Sent To King Heinrik I

In the late hours of the day, a single letter arrives to King Heinrik I of Oren, bearing the seal of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan. If one were to open it, it would read as follows.

 

“To King Heinrik I,

 

We are writing to inform you that as of this day, your Queen has been captured by dwarven forces and is currently confined within a safe and secure location. I can assure you that she is well looked after and catered for to the best of our efforts.

 

Providing that you are willing to negotiate, she will come under no harm. It is true that we have fought this war for far too long. Blood has been spilt on both sides of the conflict and yet hostilities continue. Know therefore that our wish is for a peace as much as ever. Our only request is that the Kingdom of Oren withdraws all of its forces from the territories of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and declares a white peace between Oren and Urguan.

 

If you are to accept these conditions, the Queen of Oren will be released unharmed to her people and we will make headway on challenging our true enemies in the Black Scourge. If you decide otherwise, we have little choice but to continue our defence. We hope to hear back from you soon.
