nppeck 601 Share Posted March 27, 2014 So initially as I understand it, the original plans was for Anthos and the Fringe exist simultaneously however it seems that Anthos has been almost relegated in favor of the new map. While this is not bad per say it is unexpected and it does somewhat throw into disarray what the staff planned earlier. Though this does broach the question Should We End Anthos Early? Doing so would more than halve the size of the world allowing RP to be more compact though it would mean creating an end of the world event sooner rather than later. Wolf Druid Ouity 1461 Share Posted March 27, 2014 In my opinion, it's the best thing to do at this point. People are looking for a refresher, somewhere to just kick back and relax. I think that having the verge act as a vacation style area for players to just not deal with anything overwhelming for awhile would be very good for the community as a whole. A lot of the comments I've heard is that players are feeling buried in battles and fighting style events, and if the general idea of the community is to shy away from that style of playing for awhile in favor of a relaxing time, I feel like that should be granted. The fringe is an interesting world where a lot of unique roleplay situations have already been set up. The Dwarven... geographical mystery is a good example, with players from three or four communities banding together to create a super fortress of RP. 5 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

DrakeHaze. 2524 Share Posted March 27, 2014 Why end Anthos? Why not just make it so the portal from Anthos to Fringe and vice-versa is shut again? Enough with this end of the world scenario we get put through all the time. If you do go to remove Anthos at least give us a heads-up first, I have valuables I need to bring to the freebuild.
