The Lord Marshal’s Council is a group of Nobles and Military figureheads that act as advisers and enforcers of the law under the order of the current Lord Marshal, Ailred Ruthern. The men that serve within the council are hand picked, and can be removed if the current Lord Marshal deems a certain member unneeded, and in return they have to option to resign with an appropriate reason.

 

The duties of the advisers is simple. They assist the Lord Marshal with documentations, while also carrying out specific duties assigned to them. Councilmen of the Lord Marshal are granted the right to arrest any non-noble person or being while on Oren soil, and are granted the power to write warrants and deem people they view as unlawful as criminals.

 

Acting under the Lord Marshal, members of the Council have the ability to lead joint military operations in both domestic and foreign operations which can involve any man serving under the State. Although Council members do not directly interfere with the leadership and controlment of specific Military Orders and factions, Councilmen are granted the power to rally forces and bring them into combat against enemies of Oren. Men of the Lord Marshal’s Council are also allowed to ask soldiers and Knights for escorts, and other petty deeds that are expected to be upheld by servicemen of Oren.

The High Concilman within the Lord Marshal's Council will act as a second in command to the Lord Marshal, and organize and operate the Oren Military in the Lord Marshal's absence. The High Councilman of the Lord Marshal's Council is granted the power to remove and Councilmen of the Lord Marshal's Council, and sign documentations in the name of the Lord Marshal's Office.
