Within the silver gates of Haelun'or Kalenz stands before a crowd of elves. His eyes flick intently between each of them:

"Years ago, the bortu showed their true form to us. The stout creatures are born of wickedness, greed and cruelty. They did not hesitate to harm us when we were at our weakest and thus we shall repay them in kind. We shall show the bortu the same we have shown the valah for years: Kindness shall be repaid with kindness and blood shall be repaid with blood.

"The bortu have violated the treaty which they signed with us. They have attempted to harm the Children of Silver when they did not attempt to harm the bortu".

With this he turns to the balcony behind him and procures a cage of birds before opening it and releasing bloodied messenger pigeons. Each bird takes flight, their pure and innocent white feathered stained crimson heading to the far corners of the Fringe. Minutes later Grand Kind of the Dwarves, the King of Alras and the Rex of Krugmar  would come across these birds and perhaps untwine the scrolls they carried to read:

Elmali'aheral stand with Crimson and Silver.

The Ceasing Restrained, the Beru'cinhir of Lin'ame devote their aid and assistance to the Mali'aheral. As was said many years ago, the fates of elvenkind are now deeply intertwined. Lin'ame and Haelun'or remain paired in cooperation as under the Second Concordat of Halernor: peace and progress has emerged from this. By consequence, that which threatens Haelun'or threatens the Second Concordat, threatens Lin'ame, threatens progress and peace. The Beru'cinhir shall act to end this danger.

As Elmali'aheral stand with Crimson and Silver, Elmali'ame stand as Bronze alongside them.

The Eternal Librarian stands at her post beneath the city.

Her eyes trail over to a small scourged mark the builders seem to have forgotten.

A growl emits from the spectral being.

"The living have no respect."

Heshakomeu stands beside the Sleeping Troll Inn, looking upon the white walls of Haelun'or in sadness. He knows he shall not be allowed entry; he has tried many times and had been turned away on each attempt. He once verbally vowed to fight the stuck-up illogical and inconsistent elitists of the city if war ever came to the Fringe, but he cannot bring himself to help bortu in their fight against mali. Being a mali''aheral himself, he most likely could not join the Urguan legion anyways.

He closes his eyes for a moment, then takes his bucket of red paint and paints a large infinity symbol on the back of the Inn. He shall stay in his Temple and not join this war, he whispers to himself. His soldier days are over.

"It seems that the bortu's decreased stature also came with a more acute mind... I thought the bortu had more honor than to break their own treaty. An act they used to vilify the human race for apparently doing years ago. What a shame. I thought the bortu were smarter than that..." remarks Iatrilemar

A letter Is sent to Kalenz

"Your declaration I am sure is part to the close relations you have with the Empire.

However, I must ask you this. Why are you Helfs bitching? I don't seem to recall

the Grand Kingdom engaging in hostilitys under my rule."

Your kin attempted to exterminate my own for their own amusement many years in the past, bortu. I return favours, even if they take many years to pan out. The memories of the mali'aheral are longer than those of the lesser races. We do not forget your transgressions of the past.

Wulfgar hears word of the declaration and begins to scratch at his beard.

"Heh, su' much fer 'oigh elven peace. T'e last ah recall, Urguan chose tu' create peace due tu t'e 'oigh elves constant whoinin'. Even afteh ye saw fit tu steal ah golem anvil n' refuse tu' return it tu its owner. N' su' ah treateh wus' soigned ov nawn aggression... Rest assured t'at t'is toime, w'en t'ey nay lun'er 'ave Oren tu 'oide be'oind, t'ey will beh crushed as t'ey should 'ave baehn maneh yers aguh. 'o du' t'ey t'ink it wus' 'o talked t'e uruk intuh nay attackin' 'em? T'is betrayal shall nawt beh forgotten."

Iatrilemar speaks as if he heard Wulfgar but he probably just sat in his room talking to himself instead.

"Let us speak of betrayal dwarf. Let us speak of how we were given the anvil to hold onto without any dwarven knowledge only to have the dwarves use evil and forbidden magic akin to something worse than Iblees himself in order to locate the anvil. Had the dwarves simply negotiated back in Elysium they would have been granted their anvil back. Instead treachery was used and the a raid happened in which that dark magic  was used. Even in recent past there is treachery against my people. Sending vile uruk onto us and attacking my kin.

This is all but past because what is truly the cause here is that the bortu have show themselves to be untrustworthy. We have made a treaty with the bortu and still the bortu have the gall to raid Tahn'siol and burn our library, breaking the very treaty they put forth. You may think you hold some semblance of honor but I assure you after all these events it is quite clear to everyone in this realm including the sky gods, that the bortu are corrupt beings who act selfishly and think only of their own follies. We are not your toys bortu and I can promise that our blades will cry crimson atonement soon."

Iatrilemar looks around his empty room having just monologued.

Bowman scratches his head

"Me dunnae remember attackin' yeh in me days'o Legionary duties in Aegis...

Tortek gave yeh t'at anvil in a drunken stupor, unaffiliated wit' tae dwarven nation...

Nae dwarf ah know t'ese days uses aneh "vile" magic, an' me could easily say t' same 'bou yeh if me was a beardlin'...

An' yeh declarin' war over eh resolved conflict? T'is is like us declarin' over yeh stealin' t' anvil, 'cept fer sum reason yeh still alive, because me guess t' beardlin's never followed t'rough? 'er maybe sum 'igher power slapped 'em an' said nae. Me dunno."

Meanwhile Rap'Lur slides in to clooect the silver tears!

((There was no ******* x-ray used to find the anvil.))

Iatrilemar once again monologues in his room once again.

"Hmm it is as if the dwarves think the deciding reason we are siding with Oren in any upcoming war is the past anvil conflict. While it has set up a standard of dishonesty and distrust among the dwarven populace we do not seek bloodshed in spite. The bortu have pillaged our library, come into our home, burned our books and threatened the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya within the last elven week. It is because of this treaty-breaking offense that we will spill crimson tears."

We know you did back then but that isn't even the point. Let's be honest. We have felt like the dwarven group has been shitting on us OOCly for a very long time. We would have liked to remain at peace but some dwarves ruined that for everyone. IC consequences come from IC action, and if the HE's use this ti get past frustration out then it will just mean everything might be resolved so in the future we might actually get along.
