I also agree with z3r0 and Quity. This is a step to building the relationship with the community. You can easily build friendships and be more communicative with them in their natural habitat. I would highly suggest the admins to start role playing again instead of just posting a few announcements here and there.

Not all flagged responses were flagged because they were trolly. For instance, I can think off the top of my head one incident where a player accidentally double posted their results, and the second entry was flagged.

i was the one who flagged the ones that were 'trolly', or in two instances were a double post. if there's any complaints about ones that should not be regarded as 'trolly' direct them to me

After reading through all staff suggestions thus far the majority (from what I can tell) stated:

 

More GMs, purge, Oren is at fault, Bias everywhere. More active admins please, remove urasept and Viper, make firespirit admin.

I believe the relationship between the playerbase and staff is not so great because of the checks and balances system the staff team has. Multiple times over, suggestions from the playerbase are given, but as the suggestion goes down the chain of command, it gets so off-track that it's just not seen as viable anymore come the time whether it'll be seen through or not. Too much stuff is getting lost in translation.

Being apart of the PvP community on LoTC, I can confidently say I've never heard ANYONE talk about voting in the monthly surveys.

So... I'd say the results are coming more from the other sphere.

Rittsy im gonna go out on a limb here. Tbh, you and the rest of the admins are not giving me the impression the server is in good hands atm. I mean, Tythus tries his best but we still have some difficulties. You and Tythus are the only active admins I see, and when I try to contact you, you dont seem to respond dude. I mean I had stuff to talk to you about on Skype but you just ignored me lol. Don't get me wrong im not upset, but I would like /you/ the only admin that seems to be active, to communicate with the actual players. I want to see that your here! I know for a fact your pleanty of active, communicating with the staff and what not, but what about us? Can I ask why you dont communicate with the playerbase as much? Because you and the rest of the admins seem like god right now lol. We don't know if your actually there.

TNT I appreciate your concerns, but please do not make assumptions. The only times I do not accept contact requests on Skype are when I have no idea who the request is coming from and when I do not actually see the request in the first place, but I do not ignore them. I also respond to just about every PM that I see on the forums and I do so as quickly as I can, something that a fair amount of players can attest to (though in this case my messenger has had issues lately and apparently I've gotten PMs that have not shown up in my inbox). Even so, don't fall into the trap of believing that you and the overall playerbase are one and the same, thinking that because I unfortunately was not able to get back to you that I also ignore everyone else, which is simply not the case.

 

If you'd still like to talk however, simply PM me and I'll get back to you as soon as I am able.
