He's proclaimed no intention for a separate recognition of a sub-race. In fact, he goes so far to explain a simple fact: They are a cross breed of the impure High Elves and the Wood Elves. He wishes for no sub-race. Leave well enough alone - he wants to make a culture, and if it was so created in roleplay, then let them roleplay. Sheesh. This sort of hostility is what makes this playerbase so toxic. You want to cross bridges, heal rifts, close gaps? Then do it and make peace. There is nothing to be gained from this hostility towards them.

Sun-Elven history can be narrowed down, for they are not as they seem to be. Half-Breeds originally, started in Asulon by the breeding and intermingling between impure high-elves and wood-elves, they are not separate nor a sub-race, merely a culture.

Like they stated, it's a culture, not a subrace, so I don't see the problem here. These are like the elven version of Adunians, elves created out of an ancestry of mixed blood which would probably cause scorn with other elves. I still suggest you try and assimilate into Haelun'or though

I myself posted due to interest in his culture as well as slight anger of the ignorance and hatred this community brings now.

 

Honestly, it seems this community is OOC oriented now instead of IC as it was back when the server was more than just PvP Faction.

 

Most people have a "join us or die" complex they need to get over.

I assume its due to issues in their personal lifes that make them feel the need to be asses, but oh well.

Instead of making a completely new sub-race, make a specialized character. The elven playerbase doesn't need to suffer with another sub-race.

Shouldn't stop people from doing what they wish to do, that's the beauty of role-play sir!

Magic of any kind is normally allowed, but you'd need a more sun-elfie name. Honestly people are free to rp the culture as they wish, but the main group of selfies might take it as an offense to their religion and hunt them down like high-elves do to mudbloods. And orcs to their un-orcy orcs.

Hm? I miss something? I actually approve of the whole sun elf thing. Thinking of fun avenues it can take.
