An E.T.H.I.C. may confiscate objects deemed liberal or that go against the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya in any district under Mali'Aheral authority. All complaints regarding the conduct of any E.T.H.I.C.'s application of searches, detentions and confiscations are to be brought to the Sohaer for processing. All damning evidence procured by the E.T.H.I.C. is to be brought to the Sohaer for the convening of 3 Parir'tiran for a trial under the Silver Law of Haelun'or. An E.T.H.I.C. has the authority to purge traitorous or impure elves within Haelun'or— Though only if they deem the situation one where it is impossible that the elf may be easily apprehended for a trial. While an E.T.H.I.C. can not overrule by an Okarir's decision, they are not bound by them. Violations of the decisions of an Okarir must, however, be reported to the Sohaer and evaluated. Impure and traitorous mali may be subject to "more persuasive methods" by an E.T.H.I.C. if desired, pure elves under suspicion of impurity may only be subject to non-violent methods. An E.T.H.I.C. is not punishable by law if he commits a crime conducting their duty. The Sohaer may overrule this and have them subject to the law if desired. The elves of Haelun'or are reminded that these elves, currently numbering only two, are selected with the highest criteria in Haelun'or.
