Orc Animation Test

Alrighty, so I made an animation of my character Grothmar killing a pig with a tomahawk just to sort of test the waters with Mine-imator 1.0. Turns out, it's quite simple and fun to use! (check it out here, it's free: http://www.stuffbydavid.com/mineimator )

 

The video's played in slow motion because I haven't gotten an editing program yet, but I should have one soon. For a first try, I think I did alright.

Thanks, guys! I've actually found a disc for a solid video editing program, so my next animation should be up to a satisfactory speed. I may even just make cool screenshots for posts.

Mine-imator isn't the most powerful of programs. If you're serious about this, try out things like Cinema 4D, they're more... well... they look better, that's a first.

 

(Not an animator myself, but that's what I know, haha :) )

If you want to learn how to animate with C4D, I'd be willing to help you out with that after I'm done with the projects I've got right now, could use more dedicated animators.
