Apparently teerz was pressured into posting a ban report by crayfish.

 

So, as I understand this.

Teerz goes into Rymora TS.> They start trolling, make it clear they don't want her and kick her when she raeg> Gets mad, tells crayfish and then GOES BACK ONTO THE TS> Gets mad when they continue to troll> Crayfish tells her to report and makes le bans. 

The bias my friends, smell that in the air.

Can you quit knee-jerking? It's literally embarrassing to read. Admins will most likely clean up the situation later - it's like 4am EST right now. Then everyone will just forget about it like every other forum drama. 

 

I love how everyone becomes an armchair lawyer everytime something like this comes up.

The question is does it matter that it is not part of the LOTC medium?
The players are after all players from LOTC, and I'm glad that this kind of behaviour is not tolerated by our moderators.
In my opinion there are no excuses, cyber-bullying (or bullying of any kind for that matter) is a horrible thing and it must be dealth with. And no it wasn't on the LOTC teamspeak yet I am glad that the moderators decided that we do not want this kind of players on our server. After all, if they pull this kind of stuff on another server there is no reason why they wouldn't do it on here as well...
And for those who do not realise how harsh cyber bullying can be...just look at the amount of suicides yearly affiliated with (cyber)bullying. If you do that I am sure you'll understand why the moderators are so strickt about these things.

I cast my lot with Luke in this, but as it stands I think that the situation is quite clear. The GMs will figure this one out when it isn't 4 AM.

Please keep this thread unlocked and just monitor it for any blatant insults or reposts, this topic is far from done and will continue to blaze either in skype or statuses.

 

Best to let them try to safely talk it out with a monitor than to let them continue aggression.

If you actually read the ban report you would note three things, three important key things! Number one; She admits to being kicked and banned! Number two; She admits to return to the TeamSpeak, regardless of the harassment! Number three; The Global Moderator she claims to of advised her to make the report, handled the report!

 

In Lord of the Craft a kick (and some cases a ban) is a way for the Moderators to say "You're doing something, we don't want, cut it out." without words and in this case I can only assume it was more so of a "We don't want you in here.". From there, it should of been as easy as to stay away from the TeamSpeak and talk to friends through Skype, but alas she returned and was met with harassment. After complaining about this (I can only assume) she got Cray involved, and it degraded to them discussing it and coming to the conclusion that a report is needed.

 

Now, I have my own TeamSpeak and personally believe that if someone enters it, they have acknowledging that they have little to no right over what happens there and if they get harassed or assaulted, the person who you go to is the owner of the TeamSpeak. This is exactly like me playing League of Legends with ttwesten, he yells at me saying "You're a useless feeder, go kill yourself" and that continues through out the game, I then come to Lord of the Craft and post a ban report on him for harassing me! It's the same concept.

 

Look, I love Cray and Teerz isn't someone I dislike but in this case both are incredibly in the wrong and you can see that. Also, the fact that the Report was closed the way it was and that Teerz has started playing a victim card, is disgusting!

People like Sky have already presented that this ban report has been handled incorrectly. The children going around saying 'commit suicide' and such practically have painted a red target on themselves.
