You can't use the rape victim example Sha, now don't get me wrong. In real rape cases I'd never blame the victim but the rape victim example is seriously not valid here because a rape victim doesn't go up to the rapist and ask to basically get raped. You knowingly went into a hostile environment and baited them into doing what they did.

Rape thing, is the way people treat it.  Its like a case at trial, and i don't use the term lightly as I know someone who was.  And its how people act, well you wore this, so its your fault.

Honestly, she went out of her way for this. She went somewhere she knew she was hated. I don't see anything but manipulation.

If you actually read the ban report you would note three things, three important key things! Number one; She admits to being kicked and banned! Number two; She admits to return to the TeamSpeak, regardless of the harassment! Number three; The Global Moderator she claims to of advised her to make the report, handled the report!

 

In Lord of the Craft a kick (and some cases a ban) is a way for the Moderators to say "You're doing something, we don't want, cut it out." without words and in this case I can only assume it was more so of a "We don't want you in here.". From there, it should of been as easy as to stay away from the TeamSpeak and talk to friends through Skype, but alas she returned and was met with harassment. After complaining about this (I can only assume) she got Cray involved, and it degraded to them discussing it and coming to the conclusion that a report is needed.

 

Now, I have my own TeamSpeak and personally believe that if someone enters it, they have acknowledging that they have little to no right over what happens there and if they get harassed or assaulted, the person who you go to is the owner of the TeamSpeak. This is exactly like me playing League of Legends with ttwesten, he yells at me saying "You're a useless feeder, go kill yourself" and that continues through out the game, I then come to Lord of the Craft and post a ban report on him for harassing me! It's the same concept.

 

Look, I love Cray and Teerz isn't someone I dislike but in this case both are incredibly in the wrong and you can see that. Also, the fact that the Report was closed the way it was and that Teerz has started playing a victim card, is disgusting! 

 

Ahh the harassment is justified then? Please step up to a level that is human not professional. It's complete bullshit that people even tries to make the harassment justfied by saying it's her fault. Ohh well we are douchebags in general so don't come here. Seeing now how they apply guerrilla tactics to try and make Teerz feel bad..this ban is nothing but just if something. Perhaps it's time to move to another server where harassment of any sorts is allowed. Cheers. Want to know what is disgusting? People trying to justify harassment being ok just because it's not on an LotC medium. Good on you!

This is the most concentrated, BS,  topic i've followed since the camp for that last war claim.

 

Should've let an admin handle the situation, better results would have most likely occurred for both sides.

Yes, I understand that folks cannot be acting this way but pulling a hit-and-run to get a ban is reminiscent of the adage "two wrongs do not make a right".

You know the most dissapointing thing? Sure, in some eyes going to go look for trouble wasn't the smartest move to solve this problem. But then, seeing it appear in a public forum, which this time is lotc. Seeing real threats and harassment. All of this taking a totally bannable offense. Crayfish needs to be the one to explain himself and his reasoning as the grey-area of the rules is very difficult to judge on. I wont be picking sides but all types of harassment has to stop.
