I was trying to speak with an Orc in Aegis, because last time I was a wandering soul I was in the Uzg. Little did I know though about the various channels, so I was doing it the whole time in OOC until someone was finally keen enough to realize I was trying to RP. Then I asked for directions to Al'khazar and he responded by pointing to his right, saying something along the lines of 'dat way' and then saying good-bye.

 

Based on those detailed directions from my green friend I then spent the next hour trying to find Al'khazar, which at the time I used an excessive amount of apostrophes when spelling it. Al'kh'azar, or something - and not once did I think to check why there was a sponge in my inventory. It felt good though when I finally reached the gates, it added build-up too because I had to wait in line. Made the city seem surprisingly alive.

Went to a small village near Sanjezal in Aegis and was asked if I had seen a blue orc. Then i walked down the kings road and logged off and didn't play for about 3 months.

I guess I always have RP'd since childhood because I would play pretend and stuff, but I don't remember that ****. So my first time RP'ing on MC, I was an edgy elf bandit, who went around robbing people on this very small RP server. I was so bad back then, and sometimes I would stop robbing someone if I felt bad for them OOC'ly. Eventually the server just made an event where they all banded together to kill my char.

Mine was on a server called Aretecraft in June 2011. The server died briefly after September 2011. I joined before its launch and it really entranced me. I had never rpd before.

My first experience was leaving spawn island by swimming a thousand blocks to the mainland and finding a soldier from one of the four cities wandering around.

He asked me if I was from one of the nations and I told him no. I discovered which nation he was from and said 'Then die!' And he pvpd me.

A dwarf tried to hit on my character right after I spawned in the cloud temple.

 

Before LotC I was part of a small forum roleplay based on the Firefly universe. The DM had a very specific story in mind and was kind of controlling, but as a result I ended up playing a small asian servant boy who stowed away on a space ship and got caught while sneaking around in the air vents. The group fell apart soon after that, though.

On LotC, I ran over to the Seventis tent camp in Asulon, did /s 'Where is Borgia?' and was banned. They thought I was trolling, I was looking for Boria.

  Before I joined LotC I had tried role-playing in a similar fashion to it, but it was never anything really serious.

  However on LotC my first role-play was sitting in Gaius' tavern with AGiantPie and making small talk. Then I walked through Salvus and logged off. Probably not the most eventful day, but anyway.

First LotC experience was walking into Krugmar as a new orc in 2011.

 

Met fishy, Austin, and another orc that I can't remember your name (Sorry, I think it had hunter in it)

 

They hooked me up with a RP-tutorial of how to play LotC, it was really neat. I assisted in hunting and helping the different orcs in RP, and they got me some starter gear through this RP (Hunting weapon, food, pelts for armor, etc). Then I was harassed by Kaxils and later was robbed by "Robina Hood", who killed my orc escort and shot me in the leg, leaving me to limp away on the kings road.

 

Few days later I remember bothering Niso and erik to try and join the Azogs, which never happened.
